- This video is about building and lighting the Enterprise C model kit being released by Round2 / AMT.
This classic kit is being issued in translucent white plastic that makes it easy to light.
In this video I put together all the lighting elements, and build the ship.

I really like the brighter light ring effect on top of the saucer.
It could look a lot different in person, but I'd say keep it as is it's a cool effect from this angle.

I would have used some aluminum tape to give the light something to bounce off of to spread out the light.

New subscriber here, wouldn't it have been easier to spray the outside of the ship with the light blocking grey primer instead of masking off the inside of the ship ?
Then scratch the windows off?

Might of been a lot easier to light block from outside then scratch the areas out you wanted lighting
