I might suggest sanding the buttons down without sanding them flat. They are too tall and close together for Microsol to cover the distance, but knocking them down should fix that without removing the contour completely. Thanks for the look. I have the shuttle kit waiting for a build and will definitely pick up the interior so I can do a lit build. That's awesome. I think the lack of interior was the main reason I haven't been excited to do this. Love TOS design.
Great review , Thank you for sharing. I wasn't going to get this kit but you changed my mind . I might have to block your channel, every time you review something, most of the time I end up getting it! 😁😁 Hope you and your loved ones have a great/safe week! Until the next time, take care !
Sweet ! I can’t wait to get this now! Thanks for the great video! Love the door! About twenty years ago I built a Rio Grand runabout with my own full scratch built interiors for the cockpit and rear compartment taken off of the STNG episode Timescape with little sleeping compartments and full lighting it came out awesome although after they came out with the circuit board and leds I might open it just to add the new lights or buy another to do it.
Great video and now I want one. The scanner screen in the front center should be clear as it was on the real set/prop. Also if you leave it clear, light the dash make a place for the light to shine through bottom of the screen the plastic around the perimeter of the scanner will light in a ring like the actual set did.
Agreed. I can’t remember a TOS when Uhura was on a shuttle. There was a Yeoman in red skirt. It would be great if they made a crew from that episode. They could have Scottie crouched over draining a phaser into the open deck plate. Lt Boma carrying one of the tanks out etc. It would be a diorama looking to be built.
Don’t sand, the buttons off the clear parts for the decals. Put the decals from behind. Place them on the backside of it. You can still light it and you won’t lose any of the detail details.
All the guys are doing some serious man spreading. HAHA Everything really looks great though. You did a great job. I thought it was a nice touch they even added the little access panel on the floor.
How much space is there between the interior wall and the hull please? I was thinking of running fibres to the panels. I have an unmade "empty" shuttle on the interior on pre order with CTVM
it's too bad that the figures are bigger as the bridge set ones. i have the old bridge and round2 does not sell me the figures without buying an new bridge 😅
I know Boyd and TrekWorks and probably a number of other guys did Galileo kits with interiors. I think Boyd built up a resin garage kit with interiors but no figures of the crew. What makes me chuckle about the "interior parts" of this new release is the fact it features ALL the senior bridge crew! LOL Talk about a disaster waiting to happen! You'd lose the commanding officer, first officer/lead science officer, chief engineer, chief medical officer, senior comms, senior navigator, AND senior helmsman in one blow! LOL
A disturbing Titanic parallel with the shuttle craft- Constitution Class Starship 4 shuttles. Capacity 7. Constitution crew- 28 officers, 402 enlisted. Hmmm, who do you think is leaving in a emergency?
Shapeways will undoubtedly advertise Galileo 7 and Space Hippy figures no one can afford; that guy who made a printable top half of the Taurus II creature will undoubtedly NOT do the bottom half...

Great review. I can't believed you missed trying the improved shuttle figures in the bridge kit...
I can see a diorama with a TV camera and flim crew. Nice model!
looks great
Glad this was done, have been waiting for the obvious addition to the new-ish Galileo Shuttlecraft kit.
A++++ to round2 for the clear ceiling!!!
Awesome looking Model

I’m running out to my hobby shop and ordering this soon. Been waiting for this since they made the shuttle. Thanks for the look inside

Outstanding video and presentation. I'll need to find the interior kit for the shuttle I bought last year. This is why I waited to build mine.
Can't wait !
Finally, yes! I'll get it but I'd rather have the figures/characters from the episode "Galileo 7", than the regular bridge crew!

The icing on the cake would have been to have the original Galileo 7 crew inside. A very nice model nonetheless! 🖖🏼
Amazing !😀
I think your console looked awesome. The decals look great all around. Great review!
Awesome! Where from?
Why are the figures bigger than the ones from the bridge kit ? they are both in the same scale.
At least they have put paint colours that are not the old Testors that are not easily available anymore. Makes sense to use Tamiya instead.
I checked some of the episodes and you are correct, that the black upper center panel should be gray.

what about putting the decals on the back, just cutting them off of sheet and white glue?
I wish they'd put these figures in the latest release of the bridge set.
I've read that the separate interior kit is a limited thing and after a certain time you'll only be able to get it with the shuttle.
can you get rid of Kirk? if you want to a the Galileo 7 version?
where can i buy this kit?
Must have
Did you use the Voodoo FX lighting kit, and how does it marry to the interior parts kit?
You just know they will release a prepainted assembled version now.
More than likely. I wonder if their pre painted Enterprise was a big seller. 🤔
How much space is there between the interior wall and the hull please? I was thinking of running fibres to the panels. I have an unmade "empty" shuttle on the interior on pre order with CTVM
Paint guide uses Tamiya Paints. Nice.
Interior kit should include extra figures so it can be manned by crew from " The Galileo Seven " episode.
I think the original shuttle model from the 70 was the first model I ever built.
Where can I get one.
Does it have transparent front and door windows?
I thought you're going to bill your Galileo with the interior when are you going to start this
Could you post the instructions somewhere?
I'm just wondering if anyone has a heads up on where to purchase this kit?
Wheres the toilet?
it's too bad that the figures are bigger as the bridge set ones.
i have the old bridge and round2 does not sell me the figures without buying an new bridge 😅
Bridge, 1/35 and shuttle 1/32, I guess?
@@Pygar2 No, both models are 1/32
I think they should have shown Scotty on the box corner instead of Kirk. Kirk already is on the corner of the enterprise box.

Which would leave Lt. O'Reilly in command of the Enterprise?
@@danharris5999 I wouldn't leave booze-boy in charge of the botanical garden of the Enterprise!
Well, at least he isn't Wesley Crusher!
A disturbing Titanic parallel with the shuttle craft- Constitution Class Starship 4 shuttles. Capacity 7. Constitution crew- 28 officers, 402 enlisted. Hmmm, who do you think is leaving in a emergency?
The interior should have been in the first release if anything made good sense.
link pz your not working
The TARDIS could take lessons from the economy of space on this ship.
The camera lens needs cleaning. Video is foggy.
Hey where is the toilet 🚽 🚽 ?😄😄😄
Through the door, hang a right, can't miss it.
Why would anyone have bought the original without an interior? That would be like a car kit without an interior.
Simple- they didn't mention there'd ever be one!
We say Dee-Cals, Canadians say Deckles.
Many - certainly most that I know - in Britain says Deckles as well.
