- On 02/22/22 while playing KoF 15, DSP has a random match with someone who also happens to be streaming on Twitch (ThisIsLIJoe, a pro NA FGC player). This is a splice of both streams.

Fun Fact: LIJoe is not just a Twitch streamer. He's actually one of the top Street Fighter V players in the US, and is widely known for being the only American player to have made it to EVO finals in 2016, which could be considered one of the most exciting and (honestly) emotional moments in the fighting game community.
In other words, DSP got bodied by an actual pro who, unlike Phil, isn't some false claiming scrub.

LI Joe is actually humble; you don't see HIM claiming to be the "best American SFV player in 2016!" like DSP does with Super Turbo and 2005.
LiJoe was also a great SF4 player. He was featured on the fighting game documentary "I Got Next"
- I like that the pro player played the game while the other scrub kept moaning and losing!
You can hear the absolute panic in his voice as he realized how absolutely outclassed he is. I love that the other guy is relaxed, laughing, and actually enjoying himself with his audience. The contrast is so stark.
Nice to see someone enjoying the games they play and having fun. This is what chill and relaxed looks like.
Yet DSP will get huge donos regardless.
I feel like he was actually doing OK until he started to get tilted and complain all the time. This seems to happen to him in almost every game he plays at some point.

I wish phil would have an expert come and set up his internet and make sure hes running on the 800-1200mbs. His isp probably has two connections and phil is probably not using the high speed one because he doesnt know how to set it up through his router correctly. Been seeing clips of him complaining about lag since like 2010 and i know at this point it isnt net code
I just set a timer when he plays anybody online for the whining to start.

Fun Fact: ThisIsLIJoe was also the top US Street Fighter Player at EVO 2016 like Phil said he was in 2005. Of course, Joe had to play in a tournament with every US player unlike Phil who got where he did because of a US Player Boycott he wasn't included in.
LI JOE'S run at evo 2016 was a way bigger deal than 2005 super turbo.

This is a great example of what a streamer is supposed to be. Fun, engaging, even if he wasn’t good at the game he would be fun to watch I’m sure. DSP… just shows how he is an out of touch man child who sits there and “plays” a game, complaining or being silent and thinks he’s someone who should be followed and given money to.

The difference in attitude is insane , just goes to show how a streamer not complaining every second makes the stream more enjoyable.

This was mint, I wish we could get more streamers running into Phil being made into a side by side edit like this because it just shows how bad DSP is at streaming and gaming. Also he complains about lag but you hear This_is_Iloveu hitting buttons and his moves are immediately coming out which is just more proof that Phil will say anything to take blame off him if he cant just insta win.

As usual, DSP blames it on the “lag” instead of his non-existent skill. He did everything right d00d it’s never his fault!!
I can sort of believe him when he's playing SF2 because he's played so much of it he should know how it actually plays but because he's gotten so use to the whole "It's lag/netcode" that it's his only response when he loses in any multiplayer game now

complaining about lag in a game with rollbcak netcode showing that only 2 frames get eaten either means he is too slow (highly probably) or he literally presses so fast that the input gets eaten by the rollback netcode frames (highly doubt).
The thing i love about this is not once when the other guy was getting hit did he complain about lag/netcode/dropped inputs. He just got on with it, enjoyed it and still had time to shout out a sub.
@3:37 you see two distinct differences between both gamers. One is colorful, laughing(proud of their skills, I might add), and in sitting in front of a background that denotes a hobbyist or fan of sorts. In the other, you see a poorly-lit, drab colored gamer, who spent ever exchange complaining at the game mechanics, the netcod, or the player, all the while sitting in front of empty boxes of console or wearables like he's working out of a warehouse. I'm glad this video exists. It shows you that what Phil "swears" is factual about his opponent(scrub, lag, cheating, etc.) is not the case. This video illustrates that Phil is a miserable man...and he will complain about anything.

Sadly phil stays in a bubble on the 25th SF Anniversary collection and won't even touch online elsewhere unless forced into it (like Halo or here). Keep in mind it's a pretty amazing fluke DPS bumped into another streamer in the one week he played before dropping it.

I love how when the game first came out Phil played expert knowledge man when explaining all of these moves. LI Joe a true top 8 EVO placer in Street Fighter 5 and has been a staple in the FGC for decades as a player and tournament organizer. A really cool guy too, very humble and relatable. Also his dad is cool, supported him and has one of the coolest EVO moments. Search it up folks!
