  • The legendary NYChrisG vs. DSPGaming fight with spliced audio from both streams. Edited NYChrisG's facecam and chat to be on the correct side of the screen and muted most of his (very well-deserved) sub notifications. Very special thanks to Jaha 🙏

Yeah, I'm watching DSP and he is not even trying or paying attention to the gameplay.

I'm a huge fighting game noob who recently started getting into SF5, the first fighting game I've seriously tried to learn to play in nearly 10 years, in preparation for SF6. And on top of that, I decided to learn to play on stick for the first time in my life, as it's a skill I've wanted to pick up for literal decades. This video, and DSP's behavior, is serving as a great reminder to me for how NOT to play a fighting game. I still get my butt kicked plenty, but at least I can claim I've been able to learn things from nearly every loss. I've lost 2 sets to the same person in Ranked in a single evening before, but by the 3rd time I match with them, I've often been able to 2-0 them after careful thought and review of the previous games. It's been a fantastic journey thus far, learning the ins and outs of these games, and when you act like how DSP is acting, you really just cheat yourself out of a truly fulfilling learning, and gaming, experience.

Phil is thinking to himself “I need to press more buttons faster”

I like how dsp makes a reaction comment on every single hit he takes...

If there's better evidence of Phil being stuck on mission one, I haven't seen it yet.

Common, it’s blatantly obvious that NYChrisG slows his internet on purpose to create in-game lag which works in his favor. EVERYTIME! That’s the only way he could have beaten Phil like he did. 🤦‍♂️

Evertime dps says "I can't do anything", everyone else probably thinks... "you can guard"

DSP recently played against Viscant and his connection with him was slightly worse compared to ChrisG yet was praising Viscant and saying GG, but with ChrisG it's all broken and unbalanced mechanics and characters plus lag/dropped inputs. The difference between the two fights was that DSP didn't know ChrisG was ChrisG but knew Viscant was Viscant. It's such a funny and obvious clout chase.

I don't understand why the dude does not understand how punishes work. If you whiff a hit you get punished. Simple.
I also feel like you went harder once you realized it was actually DSP hahaha

Gotta admit, it'd be fun being this good at Street Fighter.
To be clear, I'm talking about the guy on the left.

This was one of the most entertaining cross overs I ever seen. The contras between Chris and Phil is just funny as hell.
