GameDragonify he should... even though he did it by using a soft banned character (and the other players, by their own admission, fucked up by not practicing in that particular version of the game), he did place well in a SF tournament, so he should at least understand the basics of FGs. Yet he does mistakes that even I, as a total Tekken scrub, can recognise

Phil is right. Tekken never was about spinning around.
It was about doing totally realistic ten meter slomo moon jumps.
And fighting against bears, kangaroos and dinosaurs while wearing high heels.
And half the human population is also demons.
There were never any weird characters in Tekken.
It does a pretty good job creating the *feel* of actual martial arts fights though (I'm talking UFC, Pride, etc) , less about forcing the player to lobotomize themselves like Guilty Gear, more about trying to open people up and condition them into your setups. Its a fantastical version of actual fighting styles.

I love the fact that Phil says they steal his footage, even though his defence for his work being transformative is his fuck ugly face acking over gameplay footage. Then you look at this video, clearly hours and hours of work went into editing this masterpiece.
In Phil's eyes, him using raw gameplay footage allows him to simply put out much more content compared to other youtubers. What I guess he hasn't realized after years and years is that most of your fans aren't going to watch fucking 8 hours of your youtube videos EVERY DAY.

The Outsyder does good TIHYDP videos also. I think it is funny when DSP talks about how much time he puts into videos and how much time it takes with all the editing. He literally does no editing other than chopping the video into 10 minute segments. He went on one rant about how it takes him all weekend to make one 20 minute video. This is the best TIHYDP video editing I've seen yet. If Phil put this much effort editing his own videos, he might have fans again.
Dumbfounded over the appearance of Yoshimitsu who's only been in Tekken since the first game.
Look up a video on his lore and history. It's deeper than you think., and actually interesting.
I think its more the fact that all of a sudden he has tentacles in this one.

In this person's mind, almost all games are broken and released with game breaking bugs, it's almost a sure thing to see him go down that route haha.
I like how Phil called this video out on a prestream today calling you an idiot for having his ex-daughter, PandaLee, in the thumbnail since they were broken up since before the game came out. All that right after he talked shit about people "not looking too deep into things".

this felt like a professional show, i honestly could've expected commentary from this, this tier of editing is not a TIHYDP, you set the bar so high this is a masterpiece.
Everything is random, everyone has faster kicks, every players spams same combo and you have to point it all out!
As someone who is dealing with anger issues and mental health problems even I know that playing Tekken online whether it's rank, tournament or player match should be played to have fun and try to get better and not get angry at other players for besting you. It's actually a pretty good life lesson too if you think about it.

Anyone else realize that dsp does the same excuse every time he's up against a character he doesn't like. "Oh my god its so laggy." "Oh my god what a bad player." I can understand lag and bad players but some of these players seem like they know what they're doing. Also it looks like some of the matches didn't have any lag he's just using an excuse just to say hey I'm not bad. When really he's bad and needs to admit he's bad at it and needs to get better at it

This is my favourite TIHYDP. You edited this as if it was an actual f*****g tournament live on TV with intermissions, breaks and all. It's as if the "King of Iron Salt Tournament" was a real thing. Most enjoyable 4 hours on TH-cam.

I don't understand why he gets so angry about "random supers". I don't play fighting games so maybe I just don't get it but my stance is: "it's a fucking fighting game, the only goal is to defeat your opponent so if you have a technique that just might save ur ass and earn you a victory then use it". Kind of like when playing Mystery Heroes in Overwatch and you're about to die but have your Ultimate. Of course I'm gonna use it even if the timing/situation is non-optimal but I just might get some value before I lose the chance entirely. Does Phil just expect his opponents to be "honorable", like "oh Imma just ignore my options and let you beat me :)"? If they always get him with their "scrub tactics" then he's the biggest scrub himself.

They included the story assist as an anti-frustration feature to ease the execution demand for switching between all the characters in Story Mode for inexperienced players, and he doesn't use it all. He hasn't even figured it out by the special stage. Story assisted Electrics would be very useful there.
After finally finishing this video, I can honestly say. This is by far the best edit I've seen on a DSP gameplay. I was laughing throughout the entire 2-3 days it took me to watch this lmao. Keep it up bro. I like how you added KMT in some parts that had me rolling bruh. Looking forward to the next edit
