I love your content. Yes, I concur that people took the curly hair simple wash and go routines to some whole other level that's just to satisfy their greed for self promoting products and getting sponsorships. That's why we see so many of them pushing these curly hair business product lines. It's monetization for them. Let's go back to the basics and keep the routine like it's meant to be simple... it's wash and go but healthy hair at the same time. :) That's why we transitioned from having those horrible chemically processed dangerous perms to have a more easier and simple life with our natural hair routines.

I hope you are able to translate what I’m about to say. No sabes los muchos consejos que I have taken from your videos. So thank you for that! And don’t give up asi sea Que tengas mil subscribers or a million hay muchas como yo que les estas cambiando la vida.

That’s so crazy! Its literally YOUR hair. You should be able to do whatever makes you comfortable. Also, I think you’d look really nice with short hair 😊 I’m cutting my waist-length hair this week and I’m so excited to not have it on my back and shoulders anymore✌🏽

Awww please don't cut your hair sweetheart. Just keep it braided for a while. Screw those natural hair community people. I am Black-American and Hispanic and my hair is just like yours very thick and you get tired sometimes. I totally feel the same way sometimes. You do what is suitable to you and don't worry about what no one say and think.

    So let me be straightforward
When the curly hair movement started the purpose wasn't just getting a beautiful healthy hair it was also to make things easier it is the curly gurus who made this so complicated
You don't need to spend hours and hours washing styling and drying your hair neither you need all those products and brushes and combes and masks and deepconditionners and god knows what else
You don't need to detangle your bair once a week ending with a super tangly hair with a lot's of sheddings
No all you need is to style your hair while wet the rest of the routine remain the same of what you used to do before you become curly
    That's all

OMG I agree! Some years ago, I'd wash my hair, just put some cream on it, wrap it up on a towel for a few minutes, and walk out the door! and my hair looked stunning! A real wash-and-go.
For some unknown reason my hair started to change a lot. I think I straightened it too often.
I wanted my curls back, so I decided to try all these "wash-and-sit" methods (cause it takes time lol)
I admit sometimes the outcome is great, but when I leave my hair natural, it looks so much worse! It's bulky, has too much volume and my pattern has changed so much :(

I suppose it depends on the curl type. I have to define each curl or else it just dries into a huge puff ball. The defining takes time, drying can take up to an hour. A complete wash day can take up to a few hours. (Hot oil, shampoo, deep conditioning, and then styling/setting)
Yeah not so simple or easy for some of us. 😢
