  • I filmed this last month...it's been a struggle to upload this and open myself up to the scary www 😂😩 Although it is late, (I turn 28 this weekend, eek!) I hope you either enjoyed or took something from it.
I've just realised that I spelt 'families' in the caption wrong, it should have been 'family's' but hopefully you're not the grammar police and don't care as much as me! 😆

🤍 If you are really struggling with things, please have a look at the resources Mind have put together; I know it can be hard to speak with friends or family about how you feel so hopefully the links they provide will help in some way x

You do seem more confident now or at least more mentally strong than in the last 2 vids. Keep pushing, you're doing great.

Omg I’m 25, almost 26 and I live at home and I was searching TH-cam to see if anyone made videos on the topic and I found your last video! I was hoping for an update! I really resonated with your last video and this one. I’m sorry about your breakup, I know that must’ve been really hard. I can really relate to frustrations with jobs as well, and I’m so happy for you that you found a job you enjoy! ❤ Also ik how it feels not “utilizing” your free time as much as you feel you should, I’ve been getting better with that myself lately and have just been incorporating new habits slowly.

I agree that there is nothing to be ashamed of living at home, and we shouldn’t get caught up comparing our timeline to others. Your video really inspired me, and I really appreciate you sharing it. I’d like to make a video about my own experience as well! Although my home situation is kind of rough due to some issues with my dad, I’ve really changed my mindset and outlook on life and I’m better at staying positive now. I’m confident that someday I will be financially stable enough to move out and for now I’ll just do the best I can :)

Omgg I was embarrassed but inattentive ADHD makes me have social anxiety and have really bad memory at jobs so thus, I get super anxious and I don’t have many savings. Im going to get medication so that I am better at remembering stuff , broke up with my ex.. I’m going to work hard this summer and going to cosmetology school with medication. I just hope life turns around . I want to be successful so I will have some goals. However, I love living with my family ❤️

As difficult as breakups may be. There's a reason you didn't get a mortgage together.

I found your video when I really down in the dumps. I typed something about being 25 in the search bar.
I love the concept of your videos. And I really appreciate your reasoning for making them. You're so right about the content out there. I'm so used to feeling bad about myself after consuming that kind of content, so it was nice to watch something that I could actually relate to and talked about the struggles of the real world.
I'm 25, and I can definitely relate to everything you said. I quit my job recently, and I'm looking for a new one currently. I'm from Asia, and it's pretty common to live with your parents here even after "establishing" yourself, especially if you're from a big city. But yeah, "Western" philosophy has definitely made me feel insecure about it, and it gets me down sometimes. I will say I can 100% see how having my own place would benefit me. But it would be crazy for me to move out (considering my current circumstances) for the same reasons you mentioned here 8:28. It's generally not expected of me (or any of my friends for that matter) to do so. Idk it's just our normal. Of course I still continue to try to branch out and be independent and work on myself.
Anyway I just wanted to say I'm really grateful for having found your channel. It's comforting to know that I'm not alone. A lot of us are figuring things out at our own pace. And that's okay and valid. I hope you continue to make these videos. I'm rooting for you and wish you all the success and happiness in life ✨️💕

People are ridiculous, who cares If you live with your parents? If you love your parents, what's wrong with being able to see them everyday? People who complain about "moochers" are the people who moved out and have zero savings... Yet they're happy to take a handout when it comes to inheritance.. pathetic

Don’t worry about silly comments such as rent and food. I did the same as you when I was living at home, but it doesn’t matter whether you pay for rent etc. you know who you are and you don’t need to *prove* that. Although of course it’s always good to contribute.
I echo all your thoughts on that certain kind of employment.
Life in your twenties is, interesting and you’re going through all the right motions.
This level of honesty and vulnerability is the real gift to yourself you deserve.

Hey! I am finding so much comfort and clarity watcging your videos. Its making me feel like I am not alone and i shouldnt feel guilty about not following societal pressure. I love that you are speaking about an issue many people struggle with but dont talk about!! You are beautiful in and out!
Ps : dont stress about negative comments, its from sad weirdos who spend their entire lives on computer screens spreading negativity everywhere.

Hi there I commented on your previous video when I was 25. Thank you for this update video. Like the previous video I really resonated with it.
I’m now 27. I lived out for the first time in September 2021 in a flat share but that only lasted five months as I didn’t have a good experience so moved back home.
I had an offer accepted for a one bedroom flat in London in April 2022 on my own. Unfortunately the purchase fell through in November 2022 due to the leasehold management pack arriving a week before the mortgage offer expired. Unfortunately we couldn’t exchange and complete so the mortgage expired and I was unable to get a new mortgage due to the rates going up. It really brought me down a lot as I was so excited to have my own place.
I am now looking to flat share again as I am having a difficult time with my parents.
I learnt now that being happy matters so much more than material things. So I’m not ashamed to be renting again soon.
At the end of the day it’s progress not perfection.
