I agree with you...my first sauvage was the cool spray...I got the most compliments with the cool spray compared to any other sauvage
I just got the very cool spray, and I gotta say, I completely agree with you. This stuff is amazing. The heavy metallic, Ambroxan notes are toned down to a perfect level, and the beautiful citrus opening of Sauvage Edt that vanishes pretty fast is present throughout the entire wearing.
I got Sauvage Parfum and Bleu de Chanel Parfum for Christmas. I love both.
I have the Parfum version. Smells good and a strong smell to it. My lady likes it a lot. 👍🏻
I actually like the Very Cool Spray the most. Followed by the EDP

EDP: Dates / Hangouts if i'm tired but mostly I wear Bleu de Chanel EDP
Parfum: Sometimes for party's like game nights / Whisky and sigars IF i'm tired of Bleu de Chanel parfum.

I'm 28 now and I must say, I still prefer the Parfum the most. I'm gravitating to more of a suit and tie style so the parfum really helps bringing out the maturity in the look. Great for dates and just hitting the town with a professional "swagger" if you will. The EDT is my 2nd for a less intense and chill fragrance.

Wow man thank you! A friend got me a sample of the EDT a year or so ago and I loved it! I instantly thought I needed to buy the parfum because everything on google said, in general, with fragrances it’s the most potent, with highest scent content. Then when going to purchase online I noticed there was a difference in the notes/chords/etc. I’ve been researching for days now and this video really helped me a lot. On ulta I can get an EDT 6.8iz for 145 so that’s definitely the move for me! I love the scent and the cloud it projects. Thank you so much! 😁
which year batch do you have?
This may be my skin type but for the parfum it lasts 12 hours on my skin and smell is noticeable to others for 5 hours, it lasts longer on clothes and I’ve gotten compliments as late as 7 hours after

Dallas I just wanna tell you that you’re an awesome Fragrance reviewer. You’re only 20 years old and you’re successful on TH-cam and have your own business/website. Keep up the hard work man it’ll pay off trust me. When I was 20 I was passed out in a bush somewhere after drinking a fifth of vodka with my buddies and trying to make it to college classes by the morning.

I'm new to this hobby but I can say the sauvage parfum smells amazing.
I've noticed it really really depends on the person. The edt smells really sweet on me in a way that I love. It's not overpowering and everyone around me loves it. However, on a tester card or on my friend it smells a lot spicier. Anyways, body chemistry has a lot to do with the way it smells.

Dior Sauvage EDP for evenings
Dior Sauvage Parfum (hypothetically because I still need to get my hands on a bottle) for formal/date night when you're suited and booted.
Dior Sauvage Cool Spray like you said is perfect as a gym scent.
If I had to choose one it would have to be the EDT.

For me parfum stands out the most
Ive noticed most reviewers hate on the Parfum. It has the og dna but its toned down and its more for the mature crowd or to wear it to the office or to gatherings
The EDT IS NICE BUT I like how the Parfum just stays longer on you and it still maintains that strong sauvage smell even after I go to sleep with the shirt i sprayed on with and the next day when I wake up I can still smell the SCENT 😍
Very cool spray is definitely my favorite as well. As you said, the opening is just gorgeous. It's pretty much like EDT but with better opening and even better longevity/projection.

I'm 35, but I'm still going for the EDT I like strong cologne, not to mention I'm not kicking out that much money for something that goes away in a couple hours.
EDT/Cool Spray is for casual days, EDP is for se-mi formal/business casual kinda vibe, Parfum is for Mafia kinda vibe xD

In my 80's always wore PS Paul Sébastien for years but can't find a replacement so I bought the new Dior Perfume, my wife loves the smell of this. I noticed that the smell doesn't last onl5 maybe 6 hours so l suppose I'll reapply if something is coming up later in the day. I like the smell also. Nice informative video thank you.

Just ordered an EDT
The EDT smells a bit fresher and softer to me, (which is kinda logic lol) but with the EDP or Parfum its to much for me, its even like the smell changes to a other fragnance lol, i love the EDT it stays long, smells very nice, not to overtaking, a bit fresh, and its the most cheapest asswell. But im not like everyone else so i would recommend try some testers in store and try all 3 (not at one day, just take your time to figure out whats good for u. than make your purchase)

I own the Parfum only and it’s amazing. I like the EDP but this one stands out to me most after testing. I gotten lots of compliments and it last me about 8 hours or more. It is
definitely worth the money! And you will love it too! Works nicely in the cold New England weather as well.

The EDP one is the best for me.
I bought elixir and came with edt / edp and parfum samplers. I will say parfum sprayed and left overnight approx 12 hours ended up smelling like really clean baby powder. EDP approx same amount of time is a tone down Parfum with a cleaner and subtle scent. Elixir is quite powerful
solid video bro, do have to say a year after tho, the very cool spray is fairly expensive for some reason
in my subjective experience, the EDP solves all the "complaints" that the og had.

personally i really love the EDT because I love that pepper in the opening, but the EDP seems to be a bit more tame and crowd pleasing

Agree with below comment about this gentleman at the nice ripe age of 20's and from watching his quality, style and honest reviews lead me to using Chaos Fragrances when I really have to make a comprehensive decision on situations like these where the houses saturate the market with different concentrations. With careful marketing strategies they don't want to make people just choose one out of them and many think the difference in EDP..EDT .. Parfum, in a simple and easy way it would be simple as having a EDT being the weaker lighter molecules with the EDP more dense and the parfum just a concentrated. But I noticed over time there designers are at times really dumb how they release flankers and other who cleverly do the flankers. Ideally for the house they are gonna ramp up concentrations but deep secret marketing 101, they want the strengths to ramp up and notes done where you want to buy all. I usually go EDP. I am buying the 200ml right from Dior and they have free samples and I'm getting the parfum.

It rough because I like mature smells more than younger smells. The parfum is nice with a powderness to it. I want a fusion of Dior Homme and Dior Sauvage parfum fusion. At that point, that's Prada lol

I have the EDT version so I don't know about the rest but I love this one!
I finish buying the EDT and received an extra bottle due to late delivery. I noticed this scent is not the one i fell in love with from a sauvage EDP sample. The EDT was too strong for me. I sold the extra bottle to my friend and saving that money to get EDP.
I just added the Y edp fragrance which is a great fragrance but sadly don’t own any of the Sauvage fragrances, and need recommendations!!

EDP performance is insanely good. Lasts 12 hours on my husband. Cool Spray also lasts about as long.
Mature is a subjective concept and age has no overall bearing on what smells you like. Great review but age shouldn’t t be a factor.

I own the EdT and EDP myself and I love them both, the EDP is a bit less sharp as the EdT a little less edgy.

Dallas, I agree with your favorite. I love Sauvage Very Cool Spray. I haven't smelt Parfum but Sauvage and even Sauvage EDP is too sharp for me with the pepper and ambroxan. It is headachy for me. Very Cool Spray has a brighter open with the added grapefruit note. It goes into the ambroxan/pepper mix but by that point, it is slighter and lighter on my skin. The problem is the sprayer. I hate the aerosol like sprayer. I tried decanting it and it didn't work too well and stunk out my bathroom. If only someone can release a bottled version of Sauvage Very Cool Spray, I'd be all up on it and it might even break my top 10. The closest I came across is Alexandria Fragrance Boardroom (their clone of Office for Men) but I only got the decant of it, not the full bottle because I was skeptical of the scent.

I know I’m late but since you’ve brought up DUA, I’m guessing you’re not too opposed to clones. There’s this Indian site called Perfumery. They sell this one called ‘Saviour ’, ‘Saviour Cool Perfume’ and ‘Guevara’. They all have Grapefruit and Saviour just doesn’t have a pepper note listed but the Cool Perfume does, so if you were picking one out, maybe this could help?
Apparently Armaf’s Magnificent Blue is a clone of very cool spray. I couldn’t find it to test it out yet but I’m stoked to try.
Parfum is by far the nicest and strongest i gave my dad the edp because of how much i preferred the parfum but the edp is still very nice
