Jua installed a bedrug in my 2023 Lightning. I gotta say, removing the cargo tie downs and mounting points and just screwing them over the top of the bedrug was so simple. Much quicker and cleaner than cutting around them.
I agree! I did the same for mine. I got crafty and just sliced flaps for the outlet and truck bed light button so I can keep them hidden and just flip the flaps open when I need to use them.
After spending several hours on this, I think the difficulty of the installation is directly proportional to the stiffness of the aging joints😂. But appreciate you showing how you did yours, so I was ready to do mine today!
Why not take that cargo block off, put the screws back in press the liner against them so it reflects where you need to cut for the screws. Cut those areas push the liner in and pull the screws out and screw that cargo tie down block back on.
Thanks. Getting ready to do this on my 22 F150 hopefully next week. At your bed accessory brackets, you could either use a littel extra velcro on the sides or just bolt the bracket on the outside of the carpet.
Take off the brackets and slice the H, put th he box link bracket on top of the bedrug. The light is easy to get out and cut a hole in the bedrug to fit the light. I would not want gaps in my bedrug when I dont have to, looks sloppy I think. You show a video from bedrug but there are better ones on TH-cam.
Great video, thanks for posting. I am going to get one for my Lightning. I think for the power outlets I will leave the carpet on top, but cut a C shaped flap that can fold up, so its protected when I am not using it..
Great vid - I think I'll prob do it too, to help keep my camper cool and warm in opposite seasons. And less dusty. The tucking tips are especially helpful.
Happy to help! Thanks for watching! Depending on what you want to do with it I might recommend the all carpet version. I got the rugged version. I think its good but if you want to lay on it you might want the all carpet one.
I've never seen a bed rug before. What are the pros/cons over a spray in liner? Your install video was great. I've a build date for my Lightning so it is getting real. Did I see a link for bed rug in your list? If I get one I'm happy to use your link.
I dont have a special link. I used Auto Anything. They were the best price I found. I didnt realize the difference though at the time. This is the newer, upgraded, one with the more rugged floor. I was expecting the carpet one. Either way, I have heard they are great. I really love it so far. I think a shovel would probably gouge it but I dont plan on trying. I like it a lot. I think this or the carpet one would both be good.

Correct. RealTruck has a video showing how to accommodate the box link brackets and corner tie downs with minimal cutting.

Thanks for the video. I have the Powerboost with the 7.2kw Propower On-board and was wondering how to deal with the electrical outlet panel.
Glad I could help
James, I'm sure you have nothing else better to do so I'm curious if you have made progress on the electric mower
I got the spray in bed liner on my platinum. I really like it.
How's the range with the tonneau cover?

Hey Did you sell your Rav4P, how much did you sell it for ( just an estimate )?
He traded it at the dealer where he picked up the Lightning. I'm curious on the trade on value and original msrp too
Not carpet.
