    I agree with the positive comments: This is a no-nonsense but 'friendly 'workout very professionally executed. :) I will say that I have awful knees and have for eight years, so I have to modify a lot of moves for exercises now.
    If anyone else has 'bad knees' (I know that's a general statement, but I don't actually know what my specific issue is), one thing you may have to do is drop your weights for the lunge leg work in this one if you're feeling knee-crappy that day. And if lunges are NOT going to happen for you at all, don't run from the workout. Instead, just keep doing your leg raises to the side or your inner thigh lifts. Basically, keep moving. You'll still get a good workout. :)

    I have been incorporating this workout into my weekly routine of running and weights since April. I have gained so much flexibility in my knees especially due to the courtesy lunge, I have had knee surgery due to a MVA and years of running in bad shoes so this improvement has brought me happiness! My balance has improved and so has my running with this and others by Christine. I have learned how to do so many new abdominal and glute exercises that I do on their own. Thank you Gym Ra and Christine.

    This is their best instructor and I can only find that she has two videos with them. The other workouts evening intermediates are much easier than this lady. She seriously moves and I never get is going to work out when I do anybody else but her.

    Has Christine made a newer video similar to this? I like the intensity of this video- more body sculpting than cardio. I also like the fact that she uses dumbbells. If she has, please let me know and keep up the good workouts!

    Nice workout, with conscientious stretching for rapid recovery! Many instructors skip stretching, leaving their students stiff, and uncomfortable.

    This must be one of the most jam-packed 35 min workout I have done in my life and I work out nearly everyday with lots of different trainers for the last 10 years. Christine is by far the most effective trainer by every standard. Her instruction, her form, her tone of voice. Her calmness makes me feel encouraged to push further unlike some other trainers who whine throughout or shout at you. She is so professional. I like that it does not repeat. The new combos she put in here and there. And the reps are just the right amount. I see the former comment and I disagree with the "fast transitions" he mentioned. For me, this is just right. I want to know I get the most out of my workout. It is certainly not for beginners and you do not look for Christine Kurri's workouts if you are beginners. And if you have been working out for a while, these are simple known movements. And she cues perfectly. What would help the beginner is to use lighter hand weights or just search for beginner workouts. There are plenty on Gymra. If you search for Christine, be prepared to work your heart out. I too have to prepare my mentality for her workouts even though I usually go for the intermediate-advanced. I switch between 4-5 kilo single hand weight, for some movements that doubles because you use both hands. Hope this helps. Christine works so hard. And thank Gymra for this excellent VDO.

    Christine, I also would love it if you had more workouts! let me tell you, I've done Insanity, p90x, and zumba, and none have kicked my butt like Christine's workouts. I don't know what hurts more my butt, my arms, or my legs. it's an awesome, complete workout. I have still to stick to a diet but even like that I'm seeing results. thanks girl, hope you post more new butt kicking workouts!

    I remember doing this one two years ago. Came back to it now, I love how it's challenging without having you jumping around. My Fitbit said I burned 285 calories for anyone who may be interested.

    My glutes, quads and arms are dying! I found this workout challenging but not impossible, I was breathing hard/sweating the whole time but I only had to take a break for water once. Love it!

    She is probably the best I have ever seen. Great instruction, I have been doing Christine's workouts (20 min ab, 15min butt and the 35 min dumbell workout) for almost 2 months and maintain a healthy balanced diet and gained really good results. 5kg less (from 63 to 58) and toned up. I can definitely recommend to everyone, it is a lot of hard work but worth it. :)

      @@rupinjeremiah9589 if you don't do workout and just start with this it may be hard in the beginning. As you said your grandma does this regularly, this is probably no longer a challenge to her. You just build it up gradually. Consistency is key.

    I love this workout!! I'm a Group Fitness Instructor but not giving classes right now, cause I'm 32 weeks pregnant.. So this workout was a really good break from all the prenatal workouts I usually do.. Made some modifications, but enjoyed it!

    I love Christine's workouts!, yes, they are fast, but is only 30min, you have to go hard.

    I really like all Christine's workouts I've tried so far. This one looks perfect for me to try too, but for some reason it buffers. I must have watched 10 videos on TH-cam today (some of them longer than this one), and only this one buffers. Same thing happened yesterday. If I click on a place later in the video at like 15 mins or so it plays, but for the life of me I can't make it start at the beginning. I also tried it at a lower quality. It's baffling!
    Anyway, love Christine! Thank you!

      If you’re able to watch some videos, but not others, below are a few troubleshooting tips that may fix the issue. After trying each tip, check whether the video will play.
      Refresh your browser's page.
      Change your video's quality to a lower setting. Wait for the buffer bar to start growing before clicking play in the video player and switching back to your preferred setting.
      Upgrade your browser to the most recent version.
      Update your Flash Player to the latest version.
      Clear cache and cookies and restart your browser before accessing your video again.

    I do this workout once in a while, like today. Although I normally use 10-15 pound dumbbells, using a 5 pound one for doing many fast reps in this video is just as effective. I still feel the tiredness in my arms at the end. THX for the great workout!

    This is a superb workout, short but effective. i do this 3 times a week. good total body workout for home.

    awesome workout, like it because it isn't repetitive, has a good flow/tempo and you feel you are working those muscles hard but it still feels very doable! will do it again for sure

    LOVED this workout! Lots of fun new moves I've never seen in weightlifting workouts before! Adding to my favorites and sharing with my fitness pals. Thank you so much for such a fun workout!
    Oh and for anyone who hasn't done it yet. When she suggested 5lb weights I thought pshaw!! I've been lifting for 13 years I can go heavier than that. I quickly dropped down to those 5's she suggested ;) 5lb's is plenty. I went up to 10's for the leg lifts but even then I was struggling through the reps.

    I've been doing Jillian Michaels and Jackie Warner workouts for the past few years and I've adapted too much to a lot of those moves, so I've stopped seeing much progress. Christine's workouts seem to be the exact challenge I needed to break my plateau! Why are there not more videos from her?? I need them!
