    I ordered a P1X right before Xmas 2020. It got to my house in the NW of the USA in 4 days from the time I placed my order. That’s premium speed shipping.
    I already have a GT1 EVO so I’m familiar with the SimLab quality standards. It was just over $1k including shipping with the Sim Floor, Podium mount and 2 pairs of NLR V3 motion platform mounts...yeah I accidentally order 2 pairs.
    I still think the P1x is the best value for that size of chassis. The GT1 EVO is even more of an incredible value. SimLab practically invited the affordable aluminum profile chassis.
    I think the GT Omega Prime will eventually get better overtime but they’ll probably start charging for shipping as they may be forced to add more weight to the packages with heavier pedal and wheel deck mounts.

    Put my order in today. I would have bought the P1-X, but with shipping to California it comes out about $300 more. I figure it'll be cheaper to upgrade the pedal plate when I eventually go for something stronger than my Fanatec V3s.

    Sneaky how you never put the different pedals on the so called flexing plate. With a FLAT or 4 contact patch pedal set. You won’t see any flex. I own this and LOVE IT!

    • @brnktv
      @brnktv 3 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      I wondered about this myself. The flex in the pedal plate had more to do with brackets he was using under the pedals which created only 2 contact points, and forced the leverage to the front rather than the plate itself.

    Hi, great video, all nicely explained, great insight into the product.
    I do notice "some" bias against the rig, but ok, you do state your reasons clearly :)
    Just a note, let us know if you tried the anti-flex idea on minute 7:00 but I have a feeling it won't do much at all because the lever is nearly the same length, plus it will make it a pain to get into the cockpit!

      @TheSimChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I don't have this cockpit anymore, so I can't try unfortuantely. But I do my best to stay unbiased. It's not an all positive review, but the rig also has some weaknesses, so I think it's fair.

    Ho there. I hope you’d be able to help me with this.
    I’m getting into sim a bit more serious in the next couple of months. I come from a g29 on a table with GT7 on ps4.
    I’ll be getting the podium f1 fanatec (DD1) with cs v3 pedals. Now here comes my problem, will I be ok with the gt omega Titan or should I go for the prime? It would be great for my budget and looks better the titan, but i’m worried in the long run the flex will be annoying me too much. What is your opinion as someone that will be getting into ACC and maybe AC… please give an honest opinion. Thanks you so much for your videos

    • @TheSimChannel
      @TheSimChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So in my opinion the Titan should be "fine" in terms of flex. It'll flex a little but it won't have a very big impact on your enjoyment of the games. Where it comes a bit short compared to aluminium profile solutions is upgradability. Wanna attach a screen directly to the rig? Handbrake and shifter on it at the same time? Buttkickers or motion setups? Headphone holder? If the answer is no to all of those I think the Titan may make you quite happy 🙂

    • @nFoxpt
      @nFoxpt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheSimChannel that is such great help. I honestly don’t see myself with a shifter or handbrake. I actually like the minimalist feel to the titan. So might just go ahead and pull the trigger. Thanks you so much for your honest opinion!

      It's cross-compatible. Companies use different T-nuts, bolts, etc., but it's all series 40 profiles. The channel shapes can differ slightly but the width of the opening and maximum depth are the same (or at least close enough that the T--nuts fit).

    Hi man. I just ordered the GT Omega prime and am looking for a seat to put on it. I see the NRG seats look the part and aren’t so expensive ($300 USD), but will I need to acquire anything else to properly fit it into the rig like you do?

    • @TheSimChannel
      @TheSimChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Based on a quick check: If you ordered the Prime without a seat it won't come with a seat slider, so you're probably gonna want one of those. The NRG seats, or at least the "Fiber Glass Bucket Seat" comes with (small) seat brackets for bottom mounting (in other words you can mount that directly onto the seat slider). You can even skip the seat slider entirely but I wouldn't recommend that (every adjustment of the seat will then require a tool kit and 5 minutes of work).

      @@sethfrancissimracing7558 the profiles flex slightly more, although most will perceive this difference as negligible. I'm not 100% sure if its the actual profile thats flexing or the mount for the uprights that allows for a little more flex, or both. Most likely both as the profiles are lighter and "thinner", as shown in the video. Either way, that shouldn't stop you from buying it in my opinion.
