Roy P. Benavidez, "Tango Mike Mike" this is amazing thanks for this hero’s story it is breathtaking g and amazing sorry about your dad and his legacy will live on.
He came to speak at my school in 1981, Bedichek Jr High School. I'll never forget how he made us all feel. He was easily the most charismatic and inspiring person I've ever personally met. We got to shake his hand at the end of his presentation. We thought of him as a superhero. I still do.
When he said “i dont like being called a hero, the real heroes are the ones who passed away” i got a little choked up on that one. This man probably killed countless NVA. What an amazing person
I literally tear up every time it’s the fact that these men have such honour as bravery believe that the people who died deserve the respect that goes beyond what a human can do
I got choked up when the video mentioned the 19 year old door gunner that was shot and killed during a landing. it's a disgusting waste of life to strip that kid from their parents and send them to a warzone in the other side of the world. So sad
my father told me that in the moment you get shot you sometimes can't really classify what it is due to the adrenalin he also got shot through the leg and he said at first he thought it was just a stone hitting him while he ran to cover
he had to ignore the pain he had, he had his intestines falling out, shrapnel all over him, cuts on him, bullet shots all over his body, and blood in his eyes. dear god hes a badass
I met him when I was young, my Mom, my older brother, and I were at WOMAC hospital on Fort Bragg, I have forgotten why we were there, but my mom could only carry one of us. Then MSGT Roy Benavidez came over, he was there for a check-up and carried me on his shoulders and bought us burgers from McDonald's. That man is a true hero and I'm proud to have met him along with the other heroes I've met in my childhood. The world needs more heroes like him. The hero isn't the fastest, the strongest, the smartest, or the best looking. The true heroes are the men and women who no matter the trials, do what they know is right. That's what we need, real heroes.

He was a badass too he was posthumously awarded the distinguished service cross (he died on the chopper) along with leroy wright and the helecopter pilot mccibbon and the the door gunner Craig who died in benavidez arms received the distinguished flying cross posthumously. The is a push to get Wright the medal of honor (benavidez started a push ,)because before benavidez arrived leroy threw back a grenade and rolled onto another grenade seconds later absorbing the blast in the process saving the team by some miracle he survived and continued fighting before being killed.

As President Reagan said: "If the story of his heroism were a movie script, you would not believe it". This special episode took quite some time to create, as you can see there are many shots!
This is another Vietnam vet who's life story and accomplishes should be shown to each and every one of our American children while they're in middle school. Children should know what an American Patriot truly is ... This man truly makes America proud . When I listen to him tell his story I can't help but get teary eyed . Thank you sir for being a true hero , God bless you man of God .
To call this amazing man a hero is an understatement. *_He is the definition of what a Hero is!_* Much respect to him and soldiers like him who despite their wounds continue to risk their own lives for their comrades in arms!
Being a war hero is enough, but I respect this man even more just for his determination alone. His brain was rattled and his spine was injured and he still wanted to fight so he crawled out of bed each day.
In Finland, we would describe this very courageous man with "Sisu" Sisu in Finnish terms meaning someone with extreme tenacity and strong will to live. We salute you.
And on top of that Benavides was involved in SOG; from what I read of John Plaster's memoirs, insane courage & stamina was a regular feature of SOG missions.
Having his legs blown up, his spine damaged and suffering brain injury, this man trained his complete recovery and went back into the army, not only that but he went even further to become a green Barret. This man had to have the most determination I've seen in a long time.
I never wanna pick a fight with a man who's literal eyeball is hanging out of his eye socket and yet continues to fight back. You'll lose that fight every time
I’ve seen some of his presentations and speeches (highly recommend). And despite his having gone through the horrors of war he somehow managed to never lose his sense of humor.
@@rustypatterson1339 funny enough A movie was made about Audie Murphy with Audie playing himself, apparently he purposefully withheld information for the movie saying that even Hollywood wouldn't believe it.
And he endup at Clark airfields, Philippines. The doctor said he couldn't walk for the rest of his life. But he was determine to get back into action. What he did he crawled up again the wall and laying his back agains it and he slowly moving his leg and toes and doing it about several month. In the end, he finally can walk.
.... After nearly destroying his spine causing him to almost be unable to walk, crawl off the bed trying his best to use his legs everyday and in six months waltz out of the hospital like nothing happened. Not to mention all the training he did before he joined the beret..... Are we sure this man was human?
The powers of adrenaline can do anazing things. My father is a doctor, and when his patients don't want to die (either waiting for beloved family) or simply have high adrenaline amounts, they refuse to die, their heart keeps pumping and they sometimes even stay awake long enough to live their final moments with their family.

I’ve learned so much from your videos
This is another Vietnam vet who's life story and accomplishes should be shown to each and every one of our American children while they're in middle school. Children should know what an American Patriot truly is ... This man truly makes America proud . When I listen to him tell his story I can't help but get teary eyed . Thank you sir for being a true hero , God bless you man of God .
The word “BADASS” can be found in a dictionary alongside his picture.
Yep!
Thanks for the laughs
Yes and savage
@@ttlfmag3507 salty
Oh yeah I saw it in my schools dictionary
They say that Rambo checks under his bed every night to see if Benidez is there before going to sleep.
so does chuck norris.
But the fool forgot to check his closet for Audie Murphy
is Benavidez
so that's how master chief looks under the helmet.
Legitimately made me laugh.
Chief wishes
Omg yesss
lol
Literally Finished the Fight.
"There is a combination of 57 scars, holes, shrapnel, bayonet slashes and rifle butts to Roy's body"
Dude was a brick wall 🧱💀
To the people who say “my life is a movie,” your “movie” is more like a spongebob episode compared to this man.
Oooo you tell em guy
Spongebob is too interesting
I like cartoons
Use another cartoon, Spongebob is a masterpiece.
Use Coconut Fred(which is absolute grabage) instead.
He said, not knowing my life
I showed a picture of this guy to my car.
It’s a tank now
hahahha 😂😂😂
WillWam- best comment 😆
I showed a picture of this guy to my dog. It’s an velociraptor now
😂 lol
haha xd jaja xd hehe xd
How is it even possible for one man to be this badass?
MrMeximus Remember when mom told you to eat your vegetables?
Training and absolute love for your comrades in arms. This truly is the epitome of....everybody comes home.
He is the protagonist.
He used bravery, a weapon that can surpass Metal gear.
He had plot armor
To call this amazing man a hero is an understatement. *_He is the definition of what a Hero is!_* Much respect to him and soldiers like him who despite their wounds continue to risk their own lives for their comrades in arms!
Roy didn’t bring his M16 because it wouldn’t be fair to the NVA
First
Some Guy, no, he didn't take it because he knew that an AK would be better.
@@someoneontheinternet1317 Like a Badass.
Kirigaya Kazuto, WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU SWEAR YOU TURD NUGGET?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!!?
@@someoneontheinternet1317 Wut?
To say he was a badass would be an understatement
hes a goodass
HE IS GOD HIMSELF
Have you _met_ Katilyn Jenner?
he is the living embodiment of a badass
A true American hero
This man was so incredible that he was the first US Army soldier to get a US Navy warship named after him.
Being a war hero is enough, but I respect this man even more just for his determination alone. His brain was rattled and his spine was injured and he still wanted to fight so he crawled out of bed each day.
Thanos snaps
Roy Benividez:
*Mr. Stark, I feel fine.*
atleast this doesn't spoil alot.
Mr. Stark, are you okay?
LMAOOO
Thanos snaps, Roy walks it off, takes out his “Bowie knife” and stabs Thanos through the neck, ending the Infinity War.
The man would've walked the dust off of his shoulders
Scientists: "It only takes a single bullet to kill a man"
Roy Benavides: "Hold my intestines"
I fucking lost it. That's too funny.
First off nasty
Secondly dude wtf 😂🤣
Roy: You know what, I'll take care of that too.
Sh0tgunrun
It can take half a day for a man to die from a bullet to a gut shot.
Bullet: Exist
Roy Benavides: I’m about to end this man hold career!!!
In Finland, we would describe this very courageous man with "Sisu"
Sisu in Finnish terms meaning someone with extreme tenacity and strong will to live. We salute you.
He summoned the full power of perkele.
You aren’t Finnish liar everyone know Finland doesn’t exist
Definitely would have given the vikings a scare
@Hamoud Habibi That's one crazy kid
He would definitely headbutt a ram to death (the ram's death)
This take "I refused to die" to whole new level.
Tango Mike: Steps on land mine. Gets to walk again.
Me: Steps on a lego brick. Spends 10 minutes crying in pain.
Zara Tan he did it twice too
Lmao
And on top of that Benavides was involved in SOG; from what I read of John Plaster's memoirs, insane courage & stamina was a regular feature of SOG missions.
Wow 300 likes, this is a very huge accomplishment in my life
This guy is a real life Rambo.
Praise
You can almost hear the enemies shouting "he's a man not a god!"
Ever heard of the legend Soviet soldier who stole a German plane and managed to fly home and avoided being shot down by both Germans and Soviets?
@@jz4774
His name Rambo too? jk
The enemies may have thought seeing "This man is a demon! why won't he die"
Having his legs blown up, his spine damaged and suffering brain injury, this man trained his complete recovery and went back into the army, not only that but he went even further to become a green Barret. This man had to have the most determination I've seen in a long time.
😲
😯
😲
😳
😲
I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't yell "I'm not stuck in this jungle with you, you're stuck in this jungle with me!" to the opposing force!
He then ate a tank and crawl through a nuclear detonation.
He also survived the Chernobyl disaster without a hazmat suit.
John Lee he also took a swig of gasoline and continued
Nothing new, just another american "rambo" propaganda.
He also rode on a nuclear missile in the air and diffused it
His head also got shot off but he put it back on and killed 100 more guys
I never wanna pick a fight with a man who's literal eyeball is hanging out of his eye socket and yet continues to fight back. You'll lose that fight every time
Ikr
Only Americans would believe this story lol.
Poóper Qayan Someone’s brainwashed.
@@Soldmysoulforablurayplayer u think that kinda stuff never happens¿?
@@Soldmysoulforablurayplayer name your country, we probably won a war against you.
Simple History, THIS is the new standard of animation and storytelling that you will be held to
Maybe not as long as this vid, but I can agree with the animation
I second this.
Nien he can make vid about storytelling and others but its more and TELLING THE HISTORY OF THE WARS wait that is the subject well sub to him.
5:08 *ABSOLUTE MADLAD*
Now be fought for the world
I’ve seen some of his presentations and speeches (highly recommend). And despite his having gone through the horrors of war he somehow managed to never lose his sense of humor.
He really was quite hilarious
so rambo is actually an indian-mexican..the more you know..
No audie Murphy was a 5ft 5 white boy from texas he murdered the shot outta germans
@@rustypatterson1339 funny enough A movie was made about Audie Murphy with Audie playing himself, apparently he purposefully withheld information for the movie saying that even Hollywood wouldn't believe it.
Well Rambo is from Arizona.
He was an incarnation of Rasputin
@@jonathanstuart7354 we know him as "that mean Mexican" in Texas.
Tango Mike Mike= That Mean Mexican.
Hardest part for him to walk was carrying those balls.
Goddam well played
adaml209 lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
yawn, come up with something original cockboy
Boojyman dido fuckboi
Rambo, Forest Gump and Hacksaw ridge in one story
Never have I seen a more fitting comment.
Hacksaw Rigde is a Good Movie.
This channel has a video about the guy from hacksaw ridge
Joe Walsh rlly the guy he is called doss
He was an Hero, no, a Legend, he keep fighting with multiple wounds, and saved 8 lives, huge respect
*When you take three vitamin gummies instead of two.*
On another note, massive respect for this guy. I can also see that your animation is improving!
Let’s be real, someone yelled “clutch or kick” and he had to skill up on these losers.
Yup
Ffs lol
Lame
I'm done 😂
90% of R6 casual
Gets shot in the leg..... AH TIS BUT A THORNBUSH
Lmao
Lol
😂😂😂
I laughed so fucking hard
Im weak
This guy literally is the example of determination.
The man stepped on a land mine then joined the green berets...
TWICE
And he endup at Clark airfields, Philippines. The doctor said he couldn't walk for the rest of his life. But he was determine to get back into action. What he did he crawled up again the wall and laying his back agains it and he slowly moving his leg and toes and doing it about several month. In the end, he finally can walk.
After the docs patched him up, he did cross fit.
.... After nearly destroying his spine causing him to almost be unable to walk, crawl off the bed trying his best to use his legs everyday and in six months waltz out of the hospital like nothing happened. Not to mention all the training he did before he joined the beret..... Are we sure this man was human?
@@Odinsday Most likely the next step in human evolution.
“Breaking News:

Ha
Darth Maul: “First time?”
@@uncle8536 Shak Ti: No
The powers of adrenaline can do anazing things. My father is a doctor, and when his patients don't want to die (either waiting for beloved family) or simply have high adrenaline amounts, they refuse to die, their heart keeps pumping and they sometimes even stay awake long enough to live their final moments with their family.
@@uncle8536 Maul had it twice. Once on Naboo, then again on Malachor. Such a sad life.
This is one tough dude. Being in a wheelchair myself this story gives me hope.
Stay strong 💪
You got this homie
Never lose hope
Some of the smartest and bravest people have been in wheelchairs nothing can hold you back
I dare you to get out of that wheel chair, and crawl to the nearest wall, and put weight on your legs.
He totally debunked the saying of “don’t bring a knife to a gunfight”
He just wanted the fight to be fair is all.
He was nice like that
