@@guitarschoollive I only tried this method yesterday but i cannot make the Chocolate to work on my Reaper to control Neural DSP. I am using a Mac and i don’t know if this method works the same. I also want to use the wireless Midi B but everytime i open Cubesuite it is asking me for a firmware update. I can only make it to read the Cjocolate when it is connected via USB.
Hello punxtian, before we can troubleshoot you must first correct the Chocolate firmware update. Unfortunately that is beyond the scope of our support. You can go to the M-Vave official support page here:

Hi, thanx a lot for the videos. Sorry to bother, do you know if i need extra cables to connect to a Mac? Also, can i use to control diferent Plugins? Like Bias for a wah, Neural for the sims and a Loop in Reaper? Thanx a lot and sorry for the trouble
Thanks for the tutorial. I have not purchased the M-VAVE pedal yet so I'm wondering how good the bluetooth is. Also noticed you had a white USB cable attached, was that for set-up only?
Hello Steve, thank you for reaching out to us with your question. The Bluetooth function only works with Mac computers and for the Cubesuite editoron Android and Ipad. Even if you have an Ipad or Mac the range is only about 4-6 feet, so you’ll probably use a cable (especially if you perform live) for stability.
What Amps Sims and/or Daws do you plan to use the Chocolate controller with?

@@guitarschoollive Thanks for your reply, I guessed the range wouldn't be too far although I was hoping to control Stage Traxx on my iPad which is on my mic stand (ie) Stop, Start, Volume Up and Volume down and possibly introduce an expression pedal for the volume of the backing on Stage Traxx. I am awaiting delivery of an airstep multipedal for the more stable needs using NeuralDSP and Helix Native on my MacBook Pro :-)
Hello, I've seen videos where they are using a USB receiver dongle of some sort. Is that required or the laptop should be able to detect and receive signals by the standard Bluetooth connection?
for some reason my first button did not control the pedals, although I set everything up exactly as in the instructions
Thanks for the tutorial! Is it possible to change the presets with a short press instead of a long press?
Hello @superjt7556, thank you for reaching out to us with your question. Yes you can change presets with the short press. Simply reverse the banks (Place the settings for ‘Bank A’ into ‘Bank B’ and ‘Bank B’ into ‘Bank A’).
If you do not wish to toggle effects and only wish to change presets you can set the Chocolate controller to ‘Program Change A’ in Cubesuite. This will give you access to 128 presets.

Hello @superjt7556, if you want to change presets and toggle effects you still need to select long/short press. If you just want to change presets you don’t have to do any programming at all; just select ‘Program Change A’.

I've religiously followed steps in how to program the PC channels from Cube Suite and also the steps in reaper but the long press (PC) to change presets doesn't seem to work. Only the pedal toggles work (CC)

I appreciate your video. I already followed every steps you have given but it seems it is not working for me. The presets won't change whenever I press the toggle swtiches. Do you have any idea why?

@@guitarschoollive Unfortunately no sir, that's the issue that I had. I was not able to switch to different presets whenever I open Parameter - Learn, whenever I press the 4 preset buttons, it won't recognize. How do I fix this? Thank you so much for your help.
Let’s get the unit to toggle effects first. Please follow the directions in the short video we put together for you. There is no audio present so you may need to pause the video to read the text. If this works then we’ll move on to presets. Note: Don’t change presets or you will lose what you just entered.

I lose the settings after turning off the chocolate. When turning it back on, it just reads 11.
Hello @csillery, thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. If your unit shows 11 that means it is in Advanced Custom Mode. This chart explains the modes:
1A = Program Change Mode A
00 = Program Change Mode B
00 = Program Change Mode C
11 = Advance Custom Mode

When using now, only the light for b stays on and there seems to be no effect when pressing any of the pedals. Thanks for your work btw!! Been following u since the beginning and glad to see you are succeeding!!@@guitarschoollive
Also, I cannot get cubesuite to work in windows at all, and windows sees the pedal and connects it. Using loopmidi and midiberry.
Hello @csillery, make sure you have the latest update for Cubesuite. There is a FB group that the makers of the Chocolate controller periodically answer questions along with the community. They will be better suited to help with your issues. Here is a link:
