If you’re using a USB to midi cable, the only cable we can confirm that can consistently send the large data packets required by the FCB1010 is the Roland UM-ONE MK2 USB MIDI Interface. Most of the cheaper cables do not work. However there is 1 cable the is inexpensive that some of our subscribers have claimed to have success with and that is the FORE MIDI to USB Interface. However, you can use any number you wish as long as that number is not used anywhere else. As far as using this for Cory Wong there is good news and even better news. The good news is yes, you can use this for Cory Wong. The better news is you can use it without doing any programming. If you have not altered the settings on banks 1 through 9, simply bank up to any bank and then follow the directions on the following video. Even though it is for Gojira the steps for Cory Wong are the same. Hello @jimtalltheislandbrothers6639, the expression pedal used in the video is the Mission Engineering SP-1. It’s used for performing and is a little on the expensive side. If you’re looking for a pedal for practice and studio work the Nektar NX-P Universal Expression Pedal is a great choice. It’s lightweight and very inexpensive. Ok so I didnt realise you have to SAVE the preset on Amplitube to also save the pedal controls.... Think this solves the issue

@@guitarschoollive Hi Guitar Schools - I've played guitar since 1963, in the last frew years I've worked on bass, lap steel, slide guitar, keys, samplers, and as always - backing vocals. I'm always looking for interesting ways to loop and play samples. Having 100 midi presets/triggers at my toes is going to make it even more interesting.

What are you using for a looper?

Update: I was able to get finally get it working mostly like the video. Presets work. The volume and wah pedal work. And as a previous poster said, the numbers were offset by one number down. Also, I got it working on my own, tried to contact the poster through facebook and never got a response. So much for the support claimed.

When we made this video a few years ago (actually it was the 3rd video we ever made), we assumed most users knew how to setup the midi pedal in Bias FX2 (boy were we wrong). If you’re using a PC with windows you will need additional software to connect using Bluetooth. We avoid Bluetooth because it is not reliable during performance. I did it using midibery and loopmidi, works fine, a little bit overcomplicated but fine
