Can we use it in wireless mode using PC?

Unfortunately the wireless function in the Chocolate controller will only work with android and iPad. You will need to use the M-VAVE Mini Wireless Bluetooth adapter for PC.

I use Neutral DSP Petrucci. I also use my NUX Mighty Air and control it with the same chocolate M Vave.
We were considering looking into the NUX Mighty Air. We’re curious to know what amp functions you’re able to control with the Chocolate.

@@guitarschoollive I personally found much easier to set up the chocolate for the Nux than it was for the PC VST. Please let me know if I can be any help. What I can tell you now is the midi controlable app is not Nux Mighty, but Mightier Amp.

Hello knechvata, we looked into S-Gear for you. To change presets just place the Chocolate into Program Change Mode A and set the midi mapping mode in S-Gear to preset. You will be able to change presets.

what if I want to short press to change presets and long press to control the individual pedals? or maybe switching from let's say a distortion preset in neural plugins and then a clean channel with a Valhalla reverb for example

Anyway to get a more than 4 presets registered? Like having toggle to change preset, and long press to change channels?

Amazing! Can you show us how to change the letters shown on the display screen? I just see an eleven, regardless of the preset.
This is great! I just got my midi controller all set up as the video shows. My only issue is the Wah pedal. Mine is for Line 6 products (it's also a Mission pedal as seen in the video), and I've cycled through all the midi setting for that parameter with no success. It is connected and responds to the midi-mapping, and it does toggle, but it doesn't do a full sweep. Can anyone make a suggestion?
Hello Benjamin, thank you for reaching out to use for assistance.
The issue you are having seems mechanical. If you’re using a trs cable and making the minimum value 0 and the maximum 127 in Cubesuite it should work. An expression pedal is nothing more than a potentiometer much like that on a guitar except instead of using a knob it uses a pedal to control software and hardware units.
Try your pedal on another system (friend, music store, etc) to see if you still have limited throw.

Hello Caio Mancini, now I understand. There are a few things I need to know about how you want to setup your controller. What pedals do you wish to use to control effects and which do you wish to use to change presets. Keep in mind that in custom mode you cannot change banks, so you are limited to just 8 functions.

Hello! is it possible to connect two M-wave controllers to the computer via USB ports and use them with DAW having a total of 8 programmable buttons?
I was wondering if, instead of buying, for example, Harley Benton MP-100 (which has 8 buttons and 2 slots for expression pedals), you could buy two m-wave models. I will be glad for your opinion :) 😀
Hello @pawete4011, thank you for your question. The quick answer is yes, you can connect multiple Chocolate controllers together. Many users will have one (or two) for patch changes and a second (or third) for CC messages. The only issue you will have is whether your system recognizes each individually (IE; FootCtrl, FootCtrl1, FootCtrl2 etc.) or as a single FootCtrl. Once you work that out it works flawlessly.

Thank you for this tutorial, any idea why none of my DSP plugins recognise the MIDI switch, shows up as USB-MIDI but is not selectable

Ok, figured out how to setup everything in cubase, but now using your advanced custom mod settings step long comands don't work. Maybe there are any solutions?

Are you using usb to transmit midi messages? This works as a midi over usb controller too right?
Hello 007Videoz, thank you for reaching out to us with your questions. Yes we are using the USB port to transmit midi. If you’re using a PC it can be done via Bluetooth but we suggest using the usb cable to get it working before connecting it wirelessly as it is easier to troubleshoot. If you try to connect via Bluetooth first and you have an issue you won’t know whether it is the Bluetooth connection or the controller.

Is it possible to program this by a single-step switch between two banks function instead of step short or step long? I don't want to use step long due to the less convenience.

If you’re only interested in changing presets we recommend you use ‘Program Mode B’ in the CubeSuite editor and then follow the instructions in the video starting at 07:53. This will allow you to have up to 128 presets rather than being limited to 8. Give it a try and feel free to contact us again if you need further assistance.

Hello @Diabolical666, thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. What you wish to do is very easy. Simply place the ‘Bank A’ code into ‘Bank B’, and the ‘Bank B’ code into ‘Bank A’.

Works perfectly on the Gojira Plugin. But Neural released a new version, Gojira X. I did the same steps but it doesn't work. Have you already tested this new Update (Gojira X)?

Hello @TheSsv3, thank you for your video suggestion. The Chocolate controller is limited in its ability to fully control the Mercuriall Amp Box. Before you can use the Chocolate you must make a decision on whether you want to save you effects settings and just use program changes or do you wish to toggle effects on and off. If you choose the latter you will be limited to the use of just 4 pedals for both effects and preset changes.

• Advanced custom mode
• Select a pedal
• Select- Mode: Single Step(switch between two banks)
• Bank A
• Midi type CC
• Data 1 (CC number)
• Data 2 (enter 0)
• Bank B
• Midi type CC
• Data 1 (same CC number as Bank A)
• Data 2 (enter 127)
Now the effects will toggle.

If Cubesuite is stuck on the ‘Firmware Update’ screen it’s usually because you have the Chocolate controller connected to some other program while trying to connect. In order to use Cubesuite you must close all programs that you plan to use the Chocolate controller with.

Hello I am Back to the controller and it worked ones and then the same problrm : Firmware Update , but I have all programs shut down, a new version of cubesiute and midi suite , I see blue light so it is connected with midi adapter and I dont know where is the problem , really it worked ones and I only want to change presets , What am I doing wrong ?@@guitarschoollive

Hello @Lydian-rm6co, thank you for reaching out to us for assistance. The architecture of the NDSP plugins are the same regardless of which one you have. Please let us know exactly what problem you are having. Are you able to change presets? Are you using it in a daw and if so which one?
Also keep in mind that you must fully close Cubesuite before trying to control a plugin.

In order to troubleshoot your issue let’s start by first insuring you controller is connected to the software. Please follow the instructions in this short video and let us know whether or not it solves the problem. Also, you must fully close the Cubesuite software. If you leave it open it will not connect to the amp sim.
