  • In this video we take a look at one way you can paint old rotten wood on your miniatures. AS well as a simple way to model up some hanging moss to help add to that swampy vibe! Great for scenery, those skeletons in your classic undead army, Soulblight Gravelords in Age of Sigmar, and of course those pesky D&D adversaries!

    Great video, good tips for painting a variety of wood finishes. It's surprising how many examples of wood and trees there are that aren't just brown.

    It would great to see your take on weathered stone - I’m struggling to find a realistic result for my own Warcry Terrain. Just Dark Grey > Grey > Light Grey doesn’t look natural.

    • @AJ12LFC
      @AJ12LFC 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I've found mixing in another such as green into the grey really helps that natural look. Grey by itself just looks like you've preshaded the model.

      A wash might help? I threw Nuln Oil and Aggrax on a city rubble base after putting a dark grey down then near dry brushed a lighter grey (with blue) and then dry brushed highlights and such with a pale blue grey - came out looking great
