He was in my AA group in San Francisco and he was the not only the funniest but the nicest kindest person one could have the pleasure of meeting. He suffered in a lot of silence and I wish he would have let more people know what was going on so he wouldn't have taken his own life.. sad

As a person living with depression, I remember crying when I learned of his passing. My thought was if he can't find help, what hope is there for the rest of us? He was such a true gem. I will always miss him.
I hope you can find peace. Dealing with bad depression for 20+ years myself. Hell that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Try to keep reaching out, be in nature, get excercise if you can. If I can manage to get up and out, excercise helps as any med. Did 8 Ketamine infusions over the past few years which was helpful though I'm sure not for everyone. Take care of yourself best you can. And yes Robin was such an amazing, talented person.
No two people have the exact same brain chemistry. The longer we live, the more we understand about the way the brain and the body work. Millions of chemicals and electronic signals....it's room for a lot of variation. There is always hope. How much, depends on how life is going for you today. Small steps can result in huge change.

I still live with sadness in my heart with the loss of such great human being as Robin Williams was.. I never met him in person, just on movie theaters and TV yet I always felt that he was authentic.. My heart goes out to his family and I wish they know that R.W. was one of the best.. Robin was able to cheer him up for the first time after his accident that left him paralyzed. He showed up as a Russian gynecologist, to examine a pregnant lady. Made Chris laugh. for some reason i can picture this scene in my head in detail :)

Met him once in Prince Rupert BC. He was coming off four days of partying on a cruise boat where Little Feat was the onboard band and guests of Bill Gates included Deepak Chopra, Debbie Reynolds, Jean Michel Cousteau, Quincy Jones and Jeff Goldblum. Robin was tired but he was still going a mile a minute spinning out dazzling, incredible spiderwebs of words. Totally brilliant and irreplaceable and we miss him so much.

Unfortunately he had memory loss, self awareness issues, dementia and other issues. He had to many to list. Surprisingly
Depression was not a part of this issue.

Robin was able to cheer him up for the first time after his accident that left him paralyzed. He showed up as a Russian gynecologist, to examine a pregnant lady. Made Chris laugh. for some reason i can picture this scene in my head in detail :)
I wonder with what time I've left in this journey will I get the blessing of another soul that can give us the blessed gift of laughter like R. W. As well as the drama in his films . What a gift .

Miss this Sensitive Soul.
Met him once in Prince Rupert BC. He was coming off four days of partying on a cruise boat where Little Feat was the onboard band and guests of Bill Gates included Deepak Chopra, Debbie Reynolds, Jean Michel Cousteau, Quincy Jones and Jeff Goldblum. Robin was tired but he was still going a mile a minute spinning out dazzling, incredible spiderwebs of words. Totally brilliant and irreplaceable and we miss him so much.
One and only person in the world who could insult anyone and go away with it.
There one in all democratic country in the world but must of them are dead or 85 (here in Quebec is name is yvon deschamps 84y old)
