Nice try. I don't think so. Probably in your own mind.
I really don't understand how anyone can even begin to consider still applauding all these people who entertained us for so many years ...only to find out later they were all perform under the influence of so many drugs and alcohol. Without such crutches, they apparently could not perform ....so why make such outlandish accolades to these guys and gals???
There are no "holes" left in the world when these people killed themselves over the years of drug and alcohol abuse. Sadly, there is a huge demographic that simply does not see it this way. They think these performances were fantastic ...and have no interest in what was going on behind the scenes ...probably because they are users themselves, and see absolutely nothing wrong with performing "high and drunk". If this is the case ....then I have answered my myself ....and now I understand

@@taxicamel Nice judgement and ignorance of mental illness, that many people, like Robin, used drugs to "feel normal". His brain was firing on 50 cylinders at full throttle, 24/7. Try being a parent of a kid like that. You see genius, chaos and all kinds of silliness and craziness all at once. Culture had something to do with it, because he was not popular as kid.
You apparently love to judge others without knowing a phucking thing about the people or their problems, making blanket statements, assumptions and assessments, most likely projecting the hateful misery of your own life's failures.

I love and miss Robin as much as anyone here, but you can kind of see it here. He was already dying inside at this point. Maybe he didn't realize it, but those eyes are not the eyes of a happy man. That demeanor is not that of a happy soul. That is the visage of someone who is desperately trying to make those around him smile and laugh because he cannot genuinely feel those things for himself..
Truly heartbreaking. And it makes these kinds of videos very bittersweet. He made us smile and laugh for years. He brought such joy to others...when he constantly fought his own demons. And eventually...his demons won. RIP Robin. You are truly, very sorely missed.

Yes, I agree! I don't believe he went to hell, like some so called Christians try to say because he committed suicide. I think sadly he went out of his mind and did it. He didn't mean to hurt anyone least of all his family. But he was such a good person and did so much for people and charities and so forth, I really believe he made it to heaven.

I had the opportunity to see Robin live in little theatre called "the Palace" in Columbus Ohio. It was my 40th b day present. I went behind stage. Talked to him. Hugged him. Tld him he was my 40th b day present. He said "Honey.....U don't even look 40" He wore an Hawaiian shirt. I'd Never seen a more hairier man. Like an ape! He was sooo humble and asked me what was my favorite movie. I said "Awakenings" He was thrown off because he didn't expect me to say it was my favorite. He said "do you want my autograph? I said no. Didn't have paper or pen. I said " that's ok.....I'll see you again." He passed soon after. I no he's n Heaven 🛐. There's 1 judge n who r we to decide? He gave me the biggest bear hug u can imagine! PS...My fa,ce,mouth, eyes etc...hurt for @ least 2 hrs. I had NEVER smiled that long in my lifetime and still haven't!!! Genius, heart, humble, hilarious, soft spoken, ape haired n I thank God,higher power,etc.... what a blessing I had met, talked to and the impact he made on me. Forever n ever! ☯️💟☮️🛐🤣😞. I've seen a number of Robin Williams interviews and stand ups over the years. The thing I noticed is this: though he did have a sharp mind, he also repeated a lot of material. He would work things out in different interviews and then add a few things. The jokes and ramblings that worked, he would put in his stand ups. The more you watch his interviews, the more you see it. All comedians do it. But I would say that he was probably one of the best. BUT he looked up to the Marx Brothers, especially Groucho.

My other stop is with Randy Rainbow, another comic genius of s different genre. Both of them make me laugh, which we need so much in this crazy world of ours. Stay safe, my friends. And visit Robin when things get you down!

He brought us joy and laughter while his sad eyes spoke of unexpressed private sadness and sorrows ... turmoils and private struggles. Until he decided he couldn't endure anymore. And left this world on his term.
Thank you, Robin Williams. Your unique-in-all-the-world legacy will endure for as long as humanity wants and appreciates the awesome talent of a comedian who can make people laugh until they cry.

In High School, we were given an assignment to watch a TV show, and write a review of it. Well, I happened to watch the first episode of Mork and Mindy, and I was blown away. I remember writing that I thought that Robins' energy and spontaneity was off the charts, and I predicted he was going to be huge. The teacher thought I was way off, but man was she ever wrong! So funny.....he was one of a kind.

Robin Williams and Philip Seymour Hoffman were the two deaths of celebrities that really affected me. I grew up with Hoffman in Almost Famous, The Savages, In Cold Blood, and Master and Commander. And Robin Williams was a big influence in my becoming a therapist and English major bc of Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets. These two men taught me that men can be sensitive, caring, have mental illness, be good dads, be sad, funny, a whole range of emotions. Robin Williams literally had multiple production teams hire homeless folks after his work on The Fisher King. Love you, Robin. You’re missed.
Also who in the hell can beat Robin Williams in quickness, wit and intelligence?

The humble stand-up made the world laugh.
    I improvised every second.
    He easily brought to tears
    Your viewer and your listener
    Robin Williams pedaled.
    And maneuvered through his life.
Yes ... His path was not sinless
There is versatility, you can't turn away from it
Good-naturedly and energetically he lived on Earth
I flew to the soldiers in the war.
Responded to requests from his fans
People like him are not born twice
From "Happy Days" to "This is a fucking Christmas miracle"
Many different roles have been played.
Actor Robin Williams of various plans
    From comedies to snot
    Loved children and rare books
    Bicycles and computer games.
Was also a geek of cinema
    Collected what touched him
    No conviction from suicide
He could no longer make peace with himself.
    Losing memory and self-control
Robin settled the score and left bitterly ...
Robin's creativity does not fade away.
He lives in the hearts of fans.
Probably laughing with the Almighty in the sky
Robin Williams will never stop ...
