When Kageyama gets excited he tosses to Hinata. Oikawa called it at the end of season 1 and Kageyama hasn’t really grown much since. I’m looking forward to seeing his aspect in this. This training should help him a lot too.

What i love most about Tsukishima and Hinata's character development is that they're actually subtle and quiet then eventually, they shine when the time comes. It's not as explosive as Kageyama in that he managed to learn how to set the ball in that new freak quick set. Tsukishima learned how to block better and Hinata learned to more polish the basic skills like receives and eventually became able to jump higher.
Thank you for being one of the few reactors who actually appreciates Washijo (coach) instead of just hating on him just b/c he doesn’t spoil/baby Hinata. It’s frustrating when ppl get blinded by their biases/favoritisms for MCs and hate on opposing chars. 😞
True af cuz at the end of the day hinata may have done some great moves and scored alot of points he is still bad all around cuz he doesnt have the basics and no matter how good you may be if you dont master the basics you'll never be good enough . One thing I really hated about this episode was the coach saying that’s no food or lodging for someone who wasn’t invited. I understand what he’s trying to do and you ain’t even got to let him stay the night but at least feed him. He’s a 14 year old boy, a child and it just feels so wrong to me that they send this child off with nothing to eat. My maternal instincts just kick in whenever that part comes up and I get so frustrated and I don’t even have kids yet lol
