I honestly believe this is the best anime ever made. Not only have I never rooted this hard for protagonists before or since, not only do I consider Karasuno's team "my boys" more than I ever have with any fictional characters... this show even manages to make you root for the opponents! It's absolutely mindblowing how much they manage to pull out 20-minute episodes in a sports anime. Absolutely genius. And watching you react to it is a treat!
Personally I think Mad Dog would wipe the floor with any of his teammates with the exception of Iwa, but I think he didn’t want to disappoint his upper classmates with a loss either!
