- Danger struck as we rode through a remote part of India where the roads were under construction. Would you dare to ride these roads?
After leaving Sarthal meadow in the stunning Jammu region of the Jammu & Kashmir union territory, we stumbled upon some horrendous roads before we climbed Chattergala Pass and descended to the stunning hill station of Bhaderwah. It was a day of extreme highs and lows, all captured on camera!

🧜🏻♂️Pretty sik hill climb, all while boulders roll down the hill toward you ❣️ Stay safe guys, you'll sleep well 💚💜
love + light beautiful ones xx 🌻
On the behalf of all the jammu people, I'd like to thank you for showcasing the beauty of Jammu. It was an epic adventure ride, those mountains, waterfalls, water crossings, food, lake, weather, everything was so beautiful.
Thank you Karl. ❤️
Really looking forward to explore more unexplored hidden treasures from jammu with you.
Yes it's a gorgeous countryside 💚💜
it makes me sad how Mountain areas of Jammu were totally ignored by the previous state govts... all the money and infra went to Kashmir valley only... these Jammu areas too could've been world class tourist spots.. but the Kashmiri leaders chose not to develop them... i've had hopes from this UT.. and yes this govt is doing some actual work in Jammu... roads and infra have been invested in hugely...
Not only Kashmiri but Congress leadership as well..
And they complained of Chinese infrastructure development along the Chinese side of the border. 😂
Thank You Karl : You made me come back to India by the screen, I was in the Himalayas... 42 Years ago ! Whana come back now ! Jaï Ganesh !
Wow. It must've been even better 42 years back! Visit India soon.
When you said that,' it's your day you survived.' that showed how positive a person you are👍
These passes--Chattergala, Padri, Seoj--were the historical inlets into the Bhadarwah Valley. The mountainous areas of Jammu region were ignored and kept undeveloped for decades by the Kashmir-centric state governments. Glad a proper road is *finally* built now, though it still needs a tunnel under the pass.
That skull on my face 😂 haha
Stay safe bhai ❤️ What an adventure it was!
My heart was in my mouth when I saw that rock rolling down the hill. That was a mighty boulder. Thank God you ran when you did. So glad you're ok. I was on the edge of my seat watching this. Lots of danger involved but you and your friends completed the ride. Kudos you all of you.
What a awesome premiere Karl this was terrifying but good lol 👍🏽

This series made it pretty clear that how well hidden the gems of India are
Thnx alot for exploring our hidden beautiful Sarthal Valley . Will meet u next time when u will be there .
Bohut khoob ❤❤❤❤
Great video Karl you have inspired me to create our own content and actually to move here to India because of your high quality content. Those roads look very dangerous, be careful and continue to produce great content!!! I don't think I would ever take that road hahaha
Currently government of India is heavily spending money on physical infrastucture and road connectivity to the most remote destinations in India edpecially near all international frontier towns and villages and thanks to Border road organization under indian armed forces who are constructing road network on the himalayan mountain region of india which are prone to frequent natural catastrophe like landslides and avalanche. Wait for another couple of years, this road would be fully operationalized into all weather expressway.
The people there seem so kind and helpful.
Always enjoy the bike series! I just wish you guys could be with me if I ever do this route
OMG, that scared me!! 😳
Thank u Karl Sir for exploring my homeland which is unexplored adventure amidst the ravishing, picturesque and lofty mountains. U have visited here last year and I think u should visit once again as this time the road widening work is almost at its completion stage.

I always think of India as a hot sticky sweaty bustling busy place.
This trip is so scenic and really appeals to me, breath taking stuff!

Its wonderful to see, and luckily that's all I have to do. sure I miss the air, the people, the wild flowers. But I could not sustain 5 minutes of those roads, nope, not me.
Hi Karl,

Nice Ji
4 wheels good, two weels bad~George Orwell (Animal Farm).
Until the pigs get spoilt and change that rule
See it was propaganda by modhi K jamu is more developed than our Kashmir and superficial people get in trapp was bragging in having KFC there which are more developed in Pak even in smaller cities KFC ka architect is at other level
Royal Enfield's next bike will be a 'Boxer'.
Love frm bhaderwah my native place❤
Karl, me and mom watch your videos regularly and while we were watching this one, she was constantly wanting to scold you for risking your safety like this. We’v been very concerned. Please don’t take risks even though the views are breathtaking.
Hey karl don't miss the seoz dhar in bhaderwah
Shiva shambho!!
WATCHING FROM BANI SARTHAL
Oh my Lord..... you sure are adventurous.....I would NEVER take a road like that....not even in a car!
Welcome j&k 🇮🇳🇮🇳
I hope the Basohli - Bani - Bhaderwah road gets completed in 2024, coz we are planning the trip next year.
One more thing I must add here. Have you ever thought of a third road alignment into Bhaderwah ? Theres a stunning 135 km long road that connects Bhaderwah to Chamba. Hope you can do that journey as well.
I heard that the road is completed now. Have a great trip!
@@KarlRockThanx Karl. Do some research about Chamba - Salooni - Langhera - Padhri Jot - Bhaderwah road as well. Could be ideal for your next adventure. Ask Arun about it.
Best of Luck. Safe adventures !
Karl Rock should really take a bike ride through New Zealand to see what real beauty looks like
Do u have 2 go down the same way u went up?
No, thankfully 😅 There's an alternative route back.
@@KarlRock thank goodness!
Advance reconnaissance in the name of adventure tourism, eh. Interesting, but hardly new. Same thing happened in the start of the 20th century with European adventurers flocking to the Himalayas and Karakorams.
Enfield should be sponsoring you, real adventure on an adventure bike! Maybe they'd be interested to let you do a trip on the new 450?
Gotta say, I was skeptical about the Royal Enfield brand. But I can't imagine a more grueling endurance test than your road trip which has proved that those bikes are bullet proof. They should put you and Arun on their marketing materials! 😄
ex pro motorbike rider here... when going up hills on a bike hold the handle bars tight, and dont be afraid to run the throttle harder then normal, bikes are meant to be used and abused...
aswell as know your heights of your hills your climbing, if it looks too steep, try find another part of the same hill that isnt as steep.
and we all make mistakes, the only way to learn is to push the bike and yourself to the limits.
India has the world's second longest road network, but the vast majority of them are like this
Thank the gods for paved roads
They were quite a relief!
A bmx might have been the way to go but what do I know haha
21:05 Karl said Let`s go down to Bhadwa
welcome to my place Jammu
On such trips, what protects you from banditry? Is it your numbers?
The road conditions are so bad, but they don't seem to be bad for the type of bikes you are on. Something is seriously wrong with these bikes. Is it the tires or the engine torque?
This is scary and your brother was incredibly lucky with that truck as you mentioned near the end of the video. I have 2 family members who died as a result of motorcycle accidents. One was run over by a truck, we believe it was his fault sadly, he riding along side truck and lost control sliding under the truck and died. Another family member was older and he owned a motorcycle when he was younger and decided in his retirement to get back into it, he pulled out of parking lot in a test drive and a lady ran red light and ran him over, that wasn't his fault. I personally would never ride a motorcycle, it's far too dangerous and also relies on other people driving safely. I know plenty of other people who have been injured in crashes from motorcycle sliding out and so on as well. Heck I am often afraid for my life on my daily hour commute to and from work everyday, i live in an area with some of worst drivers in the country, but at least my survival chance is higher then a motorcycle.
Bro now this road is full complete
