In MANIPUR the fruit is called 'THANGJING' after removing the spiny covers we made chutney with the raw seeds with fermented fish and chilli paste.We can consume the yellowish layer which is behind the spiny cover,we can also eat the pinkish/reddish layer that covers the seed and finally the white portion. The seeds can be added to several dishes like 'eromba','maroithongba',etc.

It’s true farming is a really tough process I really pray that Justin in price is served well to these farmers … by the time it reaches to us the price is high n we feel the farmers are paid well but I really hope it’s true that they are the ones paid really well n not the one selling it 😇😇😇👍🏻👍🏻
