How is the camera quality?
Still a skinny front screen, I’ll hold onto my crappy FOLD2. That I keep in my glove compartment as a secondary phone, but never gets used because my iPhone takes care of everything I need. As I continue to wait every year for a bigger front screen on the galaxy fold.
When the people stop caring about the latest device, the world will go back to normal.

People in the comments arguing the high price😂 . It's abit thin considering iphone 14 pro max 1TB is more expensive and it's just a basic flat phone. At least the innovations and generous pre-orders are justify it on Samsung part

@mavingakadi the phone is great. I currently have a s23 ultra looking to switch back. Reason why I have an S23 ultra now is, because the fold is what pulled me over to samsung and I wanted to see what else their other devices had to offer. This phone is also great, but the fold is on a different level. If you really want one, I'd wait until black Friday. Samsung have killer deals on black Friday.

I have been using fold 4 for 11 months now. Not worth wasting money on samsung at all. Stick to the best iPhones only as I learned it hard way. Fold has issues, I have three fold phones in the family and all have issues. Especially the inside screen needs a new company fitted screen guard after every 3 to 10 months (which the company doesn't tell customer at the time of sale) depending on usage and in my case where the phone was hardly used. The glue started coming off as well from the side body. So dont waste your money on samsung, they don't last long and expensive then iPhone.

Every fold and flip have a crease, from every company. Watch the reviews carefully. Some dont appear to have one in the very begining but after a weeks worth of use they all have it. If a crease is your concern, then dont buy any foldable. PERIOD.
Thank you for the heads up I thought of getting one. Makes sense the crease will be worse with every usage
The crease didn't get bigger on my fold 3, always the same. Plus you don't even know notice the crease when using it unless you hold it at an angle in bright light.

I have been a long-term user of Samsung flagship “S” series phones. Currently I’m confused whether to go for Samsung S23 ultra or Samsung z fold 5. I keep my phones usually around 3 years before changing. Not sure how durable the inner foldable screen is going to remain. Thats my only concern. Any suggestions?

@@fahadsaudiaI have S23 Ultra, that's a great phone but I'm waiting for Fold 6 because of better size, weight and performance than current Fold5. I'm not sure about this change but that's a decision that I should make one time to see if it works better for my productivity and entertainment needs.
It's going to be such a leap going from my Galaxy s10 to this. I've had my phone since 2018. I don't upgrade my phone unless I absolutely have to or if the leap in technology is so massive that it's worth the money

I think there's a difference in some way with my fold 5s cameras compared to my fold 4 cameras when testing side by side there alot clearer now and if you look at the lenses there also different they stick out further than the fold 4s lenses I think this is maybe got something to do with the better quality the way the outlet lenses are set up or have the sensors been changed but still use the same MP? Definitely a difference though

It does not completely folds even now (u can notice the gap on the top and bottom part of hinge when in folded position as compared with right or left side )
I went from the fold 3 to the fold 5. I liked the Fold 3 and had no issues with it in the 2 years of ownership, but I had no choice because I dropped and broke the inner screen. It wasn't worth the $600 to replace the screen.

Someone explain hoe the huge S 8 ultra doesn't snap when bent and when you bend the Z fold at the wrong way it doesn't break but the iPad breaks and bends

The ultra has better cameras still, the fold doesn't have good cameras, plus its only 25w slow charging which is pathetic for such a large device with 2 screens.
The fold 5 is just for specific customers but its not at par with S23 Ultra in terms of speed and camera lens quality... I recently tested it and very dissappointed on these areas. This is an utility phone though..

If u have the fold 4 its not worth the upgrade its just an incremental difference its an update not a upgrade if u have the fold 4 and u bought the fold 5 then for 1000 pound u just bought the same phone twice.
