Not so minor, but time and good medical care are good healers.

Thanks @dan-k3744. It happens sooner or later. We are thankful it was at extremely low speed. We have had great assistance over here.

Bugger! .... Hope your both okay and on the mend.
Having ridden many different big bikes myself I did wonder of your choice of bike, in a place like Thailand. I think there is good reason why most locals stick with the smaller ones. Whatever the outcome keep the youtube episodes coming.🏍

@@geoffhart8573 thanks for your comment and it is noted and we will try to make changes to audio. Computer was playing up a bit on the last one which made it difficult to adjust levels.👍

What a tuff guy John is to carry on after the accident...given I know the outcome. Since Eric recommended your channel, I started at the last video. Then I had to go back to see what happened.

Thanks for taking the time to comment much appreciated.
What the video didn't show was the ankle also dislocated but he took care of that himself whilst sitting on the road. Otherwise he wouldn't of gotten up.

Sorry about the trouble. All that weight is no joke at slow speeds with a passenger. Gravel on the road? I'll be in chiang mai at start of june & will buy you guys some lunch or coffees if you want to talk bikes. Hope you heal up quick.

Hi @72NortinCombat thanks for your comment. You're spot on about the weight/speed ratio. The combined bike, rider/pillion weight plus a bit of gear would be approaching 600kg. The road at the turning point was 2 way cambered and the surface was covered in a light grit which combined didn't go well. We look forward to hearing from you when you get to Chiang Mai. We are always up for lunch or a coffee or whatever suits at the time. 👍

Were you wearing trainers on your feet because of your swollen ankle, tgey offer no protection
Also your arms will surely burn out in the hot sun for all those hrs in the sun
I hope you are healing well.

Thanks for your comment.. It certainly gets hot riding here when the temp here hits 40+ celcius or over 104 farenhiet. You got to slap on the sunscreen for sure. The best boots going can't help when 400+ kilos meets the body unfortunately. If I'd taken the shoe off I would've never got it back on. More to come in the next Vlog.
