I'm going through a rollercoaster of emotions lately, mostly bad days. Then I saw your video and I just loved your positive energy and your kinda childish but yet respectable attitude while baking (or in this case not baking ahah). I love you and thank you for your creativity! I surely gonna make 'em soon 😋
1. Yours has become my go to website if I'm making a cake I've not made before and need a new recipe because all of your recipes are SOLID, where other sites are sometimes hit or miss. Especially when it comes to baking. 2. YES PLEASE OREO CHEESECAKE!
Loved your video and will be making these for Christmas. Just a tip with the white chocolate. Instead of using oil or shortening, use paramount crystals. It is a type of "flaked" shortening, but made from palm oil which will give a nice fluidity to the white chocolate but not stop them from cooling and turning solid properly. (regular oil or shortening can cause it to not "dry" quickly or sometimes not at all). Trust me, it makes a difference in the consistency of the white chocolate. Keep making beautiful videos!
Hi, I just discovered your channel and I'm loving it! Thank you so much for all your ideas and inspiration. I use your base recipe and tweak my own version, for example for the fudge brownie I made it dairy free (for those with milk allergies) and used margarine instead. For this recipe I used a more creamier ratio for oreo/ cream cheese flavor. Used 8 oz cream cheese, 25 oreo cookies, 1 cup confection sugar. They came out heaven! I'm actually going to try doing the same with lotus cookies. I can just imagine how the cream cheese lotus confection is going to taste! Thanks again!
I have seen a lot of your recipes on the blog and I really wish you have them as TH-cam videos. I enjoy watching you plus I like seeing your process, it also helps me know I’m doing everything right since I’m following what your doing on the videos. Love you recipes! ♥️
Ok real question: how do you stay so fit while making all these delicious treats! I love that these are no bake. They looked so professional, I have to make these this weekend❤
@Nicole Aguilar you don't really need to. He's just tired that's why he left it overnight. Dipping the balls are tiring because it has to be done one by one. You could chill it for 2-3 hours then you can dip it in chocolate after.
I wanted to make something fancy for a friend. I was going for your shortbread biscuits, but as good and wholesome tasting it is, I didn't think I could gift it to someone. I was gonna make chocolate truffles, but this is a simpler version! This is what I was looking for. THANKS A LOT!!
I do Oreo balls w/ mint Oreos, refrigerate, then dip in combo of semi-sweet choc. chips & Hershey bars (I use my double boiler + stir in a bit of Gulfwax so chocolate doesn’t melt on fingers), refrigerate again, then drizzle green, red or white frosting across the top. Fabulous!
For all of the lemon lovers, these are good with lemon oreos. Not sure about the chocolate part, though, I omitted it. The perfect amount of sweetness, IMO. Next, I'll be trying them with the Birthday Cake Oreos.
PLEAAASE, oreo cheesecake! It's what I was planning on making for a party that's coming up, and a recipe from your channel would make it so much easier. Of course in the end, even though I'm joining the "oreo cheesecake" bandwagon, I'll love watching whatever video comes next, so thank you for the work you put into making them, they're super relaxing!
I just can't imagine how lucky the people around you, you are a source of pleasure and happiness thank you you for all your beautiful recipies❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've made these for years! They are truly delicious! Instead of dipping, I put the chocolate/candy melt in a piping bag or zip bag. Snip a corner and beautifully drizzle a good amount over the tops and side. I feel like dipped they have too much candy melt on them
I like the poll option! Never knew you could do that in youtube. Nobody else I watch ever did one. It's a nice way to interact with your subscribers. I love Oreo anything! Yes to the cheesecake!
i love the way you talk. and i like when you screw up a bit and explain or keep it in the video because i am a experienced baker but still screw up sometimes. nothing ever goes totally smooth! lol so thank you
Totally random but I checked out your blog and noticed you didn’t have a recipe for chowder yet. I was hoping that if you had a good recipe for any type of chowder (corn, clam, etc.) could you post it or make a video on it? I just love corn chowder and clam chowder so much and it’s been on my list of things that I want to learn how to make. Thank you! ❤️😄
Can you do like festive sticky buns or cinnamon rolls? They’d be perfect for the holiday season☺️ (I’m not sure they’re on the blog) but I love and try all your recipes!
Sydney Thomas - Yes! I like doing something like this for Christmas morning. If I don’t plan ahead we end up doing something pathetic (cereal) or starving.
Love all your recipes and videos are great. Having a dinner party tonight and one of the guys LOVES these. Going to surprise him with a bag to take home. He is not able to make them himself as he suffered with a spinal cord injury. So what better way to put a smile on his face is with your OREO BALLS. Thank You!
I make these all the time I always add my cream cheese directly to the food processor it mixes it quick and blends it evenly. it a very smooth inside filling!
The family first need to get through the kourambiedes before I make more stuff. They LOVE Oreos! I never thought I'd ever be inspired to make or bake anything. You are a-ma-zing!
I would looove to see easy desserts to make for christmas and thanksgiving. Because, the big majority of desserts you make for holidays take a lot of time, it would be really nice to see easy stuff too...
I served these for Thanksgiving yesterday as an alternative nosh for guests who aren’t pumpkin pie devotees. They’re tasty, but the rolled cookie seemed unstable; several broke apart in their chocolate bath, even after being refrigerated overnight. But everyone seemed to enjoy them and I didn’t feel obligated to share the production drama. I used chocolate instead of candy melt, but the consistency seemed close to that of the candy melt as presented in the video. I happened to have a bag of chocolate-espresso chips on hand which I alternated with white chocolate. Like, yum.
I love your recipes they are so easy & always delicious, I have made so many of your cupcakes , my son loved them , now he makes them himself as well & he makes them all the time. Today I’m going to make your Oreo pops for my granddaughter , I’m sure they are going to be a hit as well.
Oh how I miss blocks of cream cheese! I have made a version of these and everyone loved them. I love that you left a few bigger chunks and finished ones are lovely!
I do belong to your web site.. But honestly I am the kind of baker who needs to see and follow directions. So all of my baking comes from your recipes. This recipe looks very good to make with my grandson.. Thanks for taking the time and doing your youtube videos.
I personally used double stuft oreos and dark chocolate oreos. Gave it so much more flavor than just using regular oreos. Although if you use double stuft, you don't need to use as much cream cheese! (Or do and just use more dark chocolate oreos)
I am so happy for your asking for your subscribers' opinion for desserts. The Oreo Cheesecake was a huge hit and now with this recipe, I have a perfect us for my leftover cookies and cream cheese.
Thank you for the great instructions. You saved me from disaster! I could not get the mekts to dipping consistency. I forgot the veg oil trick! You rock! Keep up the great work. Can’t wait to try more of your recipes. Merry Christmas!
Hi, I just wanted to mention that I love your channel and your recipes. I have made several of your holiday treats for gift giving and they were a big hit. Thanks!!!!
*My new favourite food channel!!* Could you please do a mini series on show stopping desserts for Christmas? I’m hosting this year and need some recipes that will wow everyone!!
I make these all the time! I usually use 60% dark chocolate for the coating, tho*--I love how they come out super-chocolatey, but not overly sweet. I bet the white chocolate would be good too, tho. *yes, it's not tempered, but they need to be kept in the fridge anyway due to the cream cheese, so not a big deal to me.
Love your videos. Thanks for making them. I live in Europe and I've not seen anything that is like "candy melt". Any other ideas for a substitution? Tempered white chocolate?
Mother's Cookies used to make a frosted raisin cookie that I've tried to copycat. They don't make them anymore and I can't find anything that matches. I believe they were a raisin shortbread, it wasn't raisin oatmeal. If you could recreate those cookies with a recipe, I'd sure love them! And you'd be the only copycat online for that beloved cookie.
Your TH-cam videos are really worth spending time looking at. Just love your energy and your way of presenting baking as a funny thing to do. Thanks for telling about your homepage. This is just so deliciously fun!
I’d love to see you make something with a cast iron skillet! Like something to bake or whatever, I’m obnoxiously intimidated by them and would love to see you have suggestions and tips!
Two things. What do you mean by, "Tempered the chocolate" and also, when you put on the sprinkles of OREO or chocolate etc., do you have to put them back in the fridge again or are they good to go?
These are so good! Especially with the different flavors of Oreos like lemon and mint. Simple and delicious, a wonderful combo when it comes to treats ☺️
So far I just made your chocolate chips cookies it was a success with my husband and friends we eat all of them in the week lol and now I really want to do this for Christmas presents 🎁 love your videos!
I am watching your videos and going crazy with the amazing-ness of them! I literally can’t wait to try ALL of your recipes!!! Thank you for sharing them with us. ❤️

I like how he doesn’t just edit out his mistakes!
Oh my gosh YES!!!!!

That's what makes him so authentic. It doesn't have to be perfect - it's supposed to be related an real. 😀

I did the same for Easter and also made homemade peanut butter eggs like Reese's. Both easy, cute, and delicious!
