    Hello Sam, I have been making those for years , since my boys were 3 years old. Now they are adults, one is 24 years old and the other one is 21 years old. Every Christmas 🎄 it’s a tradition for us to do them together. It’s lots of fun with my boys, and I add in them Dark and Semi sweet milk chocolates in them . Also I add Gram Crackers ( just like the Oreos) all pulsed, and Orange 🍊 zest, gives that yummy taste, with Vanilla Extract. For adults that have no Nuts Allergy I add chopped walnuts, or Chopped Almonds or Pistachios. They are sooo good. And I love ❤️ love 💕 all your recipes and I make them all the time. Thank you for all of your great 👍🏻 amazing recipes.

      I didnt have the comment option to i replied to this comment but i just had a question about the chocolate, what kind did u use? Like the name brand. Does it have to be that hardened kind or is it jusg regular? I know its kinda a dumb question but i dont make very many desserts. I wanna try this for Christmas for mt family.

      I recommend using ghirardelli melting wafers. They melt very well and make a great smooth coating. You can use chocolate chips but you will want to melt a teaspoon of shortening with the chocolate chips

    Do you add anything like coconut oil to the melts? I have the worst luck trying to dip/coat anything, it always hardens and or thickens too much before I'm done and it's such a mess and frustrating. Any advise? Thank you 😊

    • @SugarSpunRun
      @SugarSpunRun  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did not add anything to the melting wafers. I just microwave them a couple of seconds at a time until they are all melted together. If they do start to get hard again you can just microwave them for a few more seconds. Don't overheat them in the microwave though. Dipping chocolates is always a big mess but it's worth it in the end. :)
