This was so helpful, thank u! I made cake pops using some leftover cake for my daughter's bday party as an acitivity for her and her friends to do. Ur tips were all so helpful. And ur frosting recipe was seriously the best I've ever eaten! I hv tried many frosting recipes, and they r always roo sugary. Urs was perfect 😊
Thank you so much! Great tips. Esp keeping the balls cold so they don’t fall off the stick which is what happens to me. I love your videos and tips. They help me out so much!
I always do a second short freeze (15-20 min) after inserting a lollipop stick into each ball - this ensures that stick is “glued” in place and should eliminate any instances of sliding or spinning.
Yay! So so happy to hear you enjoyed the recipes :D would be so so grateful if you can kindly leave a review on my blog if you get a chance ❤ thanks again for trying them out :D
This recipe looks really good. I like cake pops but the last time I made it. It didn’t turn out right so maybe I might try how you made hopefully it turns out right Insha’Allah
@@svetlanavukolic8242 I have watched so many videos and TV programmes, where the Chef, especially famous ones, they do not scrape the last bits in the bowl... As Muslims, we are thought by our Prophet, not to waste food even a morsel..because, the last morsel could be where the blessings are..Peace..
Nice. I found that if I use less oil than indicated, the cake pop won't fall off the stick. Also, I never refrigerate mine because it causes the chocolate to crack.
I had to make 80 of them. It took me 8 hours!!! It looks yummy although I didn't eat 1 yet. Hahahaha. I had a couple of pops breaking when I covered it in chocolate. Do you perhaps know why? Other than that I'm happy. But it's very hard work.
Hi there! You can totally use normal chocolate I would just recommend thinning it out with a little bit of vegetable oil and if you want to go that extra mile then to temper the chocolate so you have a nice crack when you bite through your cake pop :)
Hmm good question! I am not entirely sure to be honest but I imagine it must have something to do with the cake pops expanding once they heat up. I have read that rolling the cake balls too tightly can cause this to happen. Sorry I can't be of more help!
I tried this method before, my pops are cold then I dipped them in melted chocolate, but the chocolate coating cracked. 😅 Should I leave them in the counter for at least few minutes before dipping them?
Yes! Never dip when they are cold. They always Crack for me when they are too cold as well. I always wait now till they are about room temperature and they never crack
I've never had any good results from dipping cold cake pops. They ALWAYS crack. So if anyone else has this ussue...dip yours from room temp and it won't crack
excellent, ! I needed to make some for my granddaughter and what a surprise your recipe arrived today, I'm happy because your recipes always turn out perfectly delicious, thank you, many more successes to you, 🌹🌹🌷🌺🌺 From New Jersey LPB.
Good question! So I've never had that problem before (I only get cracking when I accidentally drop a cake pop LOL), but I think it could be because the chocolate I dip my cake pops in isn't very hot, so the temperature difference between the cake pops and chocolate isn't as drastic compared to if the chocolate was very hot. I think the length of time the cake pops are chilled may also make a difference, especially if placed in the freezer. You don't want your cake pops to be frozen, but just cold, so maybe leaving it too long in the fridge/freezer may have an effect? The way I do my cake pops too (by placing the stick in all of them first) also means my cake pops usually sit for about 10 minutes at room temp before I dip them. Just some of my thoughts which I hope help in some way! :)
Ramadhan kareem. As I am a new baker can you please guide me with the baking instructions for OTG should I have the upper coil too on or should I bake only on lower coil. جزاک اللہ خیرا
If you added actually all ingredients what was in the box, just plain flour? They put flour in a box and sell it as cake mix 😅😅 and charge it like five times more. I don't get it.
cake mix is like $2 and all you have to add is eggs, oil and (something else sometimes, but i can’t remember what) its a fairly good price especially when you just need to make something quick
Aren't they just great! :D I got mine from Stevens here in New Zealand, but if you don't live here then here are some similar ones on Amazon :) amzn.to/3pb2fpI
@@CakesbyMK Thank you ever so much! Sadly, I am not in a place as fabulous as I'm sure New Zealand is (maybe I can visit one day). I'm watching you from Georgia in the USA. I found you not long ago. Planning to make your cake release later today.
After doing the cake pops can it sit in room temperature for overnight right? And one more question, after getting the cake pops from the fridge for coating do I need to sit it in a room temperature before dipping it in a melted chocolate? Cause it like chilled cake pops into warm melted chocolate????

Can I make cake pops now and freeze them after coating so they're ready for Eid? Or should I freeze them before coating?

Hello. I have a question. Can I make this the day before? Thank you.
Can you teach how to make blueberry muffins and cookies
Do they harden at room temperature? I usually harden them in the fridge and they end up sweating.

I can't find candy melts here where i live. Can i use normal chocolate? Will it crack if i do so?

If the cake pop is cold and you dip it into chocolate. Won’t it make the chocolate break? I’ve had that problem before…what’s your thought?

Hi just
wanted to ask How many days in advance can I make your cake pop recipe and when should I cover with chocolate. Thank you
What Brand melt chocolate to use for cake pops …. Mine is not melting like you shown in pic
Hi Mk, impressive as always but honestly it's too much work 😅
Haha it is a bit of a process so I get you! Great for parties and events though as you end up with 40 cake pops! :D
How did the cakepop not break after dipping cold cakes?
Thanks for such a great tutorial!
Which chocolate did you use for coating?
Thanks Maryam it was delicious.❤
You're welcome Amma ❤❤❤
Hi, May I know which chocolate u use?
Hi there! I used Nestle chocolate melts :)
If you added actually all ingredients what was in the box, just plain flour? They put flour in a box and sell it as cake mix 😅😅 and charge it like five times more. I don't get it.
Well they put baking soda, salt and all the other dry ingredients. Then tell you to add the wet ingredients and overprice the heck out it.
cake mix is like $2 and all you have to add is eggs, oil and (something else sometimes, but i can’t remember what) its a fairly good price especially when you just need to make something quick
Thank you for the awesome tips and tricks on the cake pops. By good chocolate, did you mean coverture chocolate will work well?
You're welcome! And ohh by good chocolate I just mean like a nice tasting chocolate haha but still chocolate melts :)
Thank you for the tips. I really love your recipes.
Could you post a link to a glass bowl similar to the one you use in this video or let me know what size bowl it is? I LOVE that bowl.
