    I missed the live also, being in Australia it was 4am. I would've loved to have said THANK YOU for the best tip ever from you guys, one word LIPIKAR or DERMEZE (Aussie version) !! After years of indulging in more expensive moisturisers I now see them as barriers! Understanding the skin is so important. It's fantastic you both give time to give free advice. Merci beau coup! xXx

    What do you think of those tools that burn off skin tags and unwanted moles? Do you recommend them? If so, any particular brand? If not, would a dermatologist do a better job at removing these? What if you have too many? Would it get too expensive going to a dermatologist? Or are there any other over the counter products that help reduce or get rid of these?

    • @AngelOne11
      @AngelOne11 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not until you get them check by a doctor to make sure they are benign. I also would seek a doctor for removal rather than do it yourself in case they are deeper in the body and they need to be done with deeper method to prevent them from regrowing.

    A lot of good info, thanks! My favorite info was that collagen can be ingested from other foods besides animal products ( vegan here). This was a gem for me. Since I have a very healthy diet, I'm going to stop searching for collagen sources to ingest from non animal foods. I'm 72.

    I totally second the value of a correct diagnosis. After years of treating acne, I found a good derm who diagnosed acne ROSACEA. He put me finacea, changed me to super-mild cleansers, and put me on a rosacea diet, and a very low strength tret. That pretty much cleared up both the acne and the hyperpigmentation. The dietary changes were critical because my skin flares up at certain foods. Also, because he’s a really good dermatologist, he also told me which household cleansers, essential oils, spices, etc to avoid. Menthol, bleach, eucalyptus, tea tree, peppermint-they made my skin flare up just being near them.
    If I hadn’t sought out an accurate diagnosis, as dr. Max said, I’d still be trying to treat the acne incorrectly.

    Hi docs, I'm in my 20s and have macular amyloidosis since childhood. I didn't know then and my family also thought that the discoloration might end with time but it didn't. So yeah in the past I did some damaging things to my skin like not keeping it hydrated enough and using soaps that would dry up skin. I even used a loofah incorrectly... Gosh I did mess up a lot cause I didn't know what I had and I thought more scrubbing was good and that uneven ripple patterns will go away 😥😞. Now I have visited a dermatologist and from her I knew what I had for the first time and she had recommended a cream, for a month but I see no results at all and the month is about to end. Can you please recommend something or anyone here can tell me any product that might help? 😭😭

    Aww I missed the live chat:(.
    Hope you can still answer my question.
    I’m 40 years old and have been very fortunate with my skin. Never went thought the acne stage in my life and have no scars either. I’ve heard retinol is supposed to be really good for your skin especially wrinkles. I get a prescription from my doc for the medium strength retinol and once a week I use a lil bit all over my face and neck to help skin turnover. My question is, is that ok or could I do damage to my skin using it like that?
    Thank you so much .
