Protip - you can type the name of the instructions when in the Ladder Logic view (e.g. JSR) instead of navigating to the instruction.

Hi. I'm struggling to create a logic to move my data accordingly to datetime. For example, moving data from Monday to Tuesday and reset Monday data to 0. Is there anyway to do this?

Sang yes there is a way to do this although I don't I could explain it in a comment here. Our course on Structured Text inside myPLCtraining Academy would help though: www.myplctraining.com/academy-sales-page-1

Great video. Just fyi in Automation stop buttons are wired normally closed so your input is always high for safety purposes. Just keep it in mind.

How easy can you troubleshoot this logic ?

It's not as easy as Ladder Logic, but still not too bad. Especially with Logix Designer v31+

How not buying software one doesn't need and just grab a free text editor like geany, no frilly crap, just syntax highlighting and builtin terminal, much easier

That’s not a bad idea but if someone is learning PLCs they will eventually need to get some experience programming with the actual PLC software.
