Where can I find the accelerated program??
I want to learn rockwell, what way should i do? do i need a book? Thanks
You can try books but I'd suggest this instead :) www.myplctraining.com
THANK YOU FOR THE HELP.
Completely agree, in fact where I'm from, being willing to ask questions and learn is seen as intelligent due to seeking knowledge, and someone refusing to learn is what looks unintelligent. It's definitely true that we don't know everything, in fact, we can't know everything. There's so much to learn that at most, my knowledge compared to all there is to learn is like the Epcot center sphere compared to the sun. But that's good because there's always more to learn.
Agreed
Can you get into this with an hvav background?
How would you go about doing that as someone in the electrical trade? I’d like to pivot into Controls engineering
good question. Check this article I wrote on this topic. www.myplctraining.com/blog/how-to-get-a-job-as-a-plc-programmer
What about if a Computer Science student want to become an automation engineer/PLC Programmer?
I worked side by side with a Comp Sci turned PLC Programmer at my old job. Definitely can work :)
I completely agree. I spoke to my IT dept., and they also agree. The issue is, you need a degree to get past HR.
yes getting past HR can be tricky but can be done :) That's part of what we help with in our Accelerated program.
HR need to be updated by the hiring managers. People don't need degrees, they need proven skills.
You might want to define what a PLC is, assuming it does not mean, "Pretty lame channel." Acronyms suck and are reused by many diferent trades to mean different things. Process Logic Controller? LOL ... Logic or level?
haha...programmable logic controller :)
Duh
I'm a mechanical maintenance technician. I basically work with big and small mechines in plants which are automated , trouble shooting and repairing etc. I would like to learn more about programming plc's and physical installation as well. What is a good path to take?
Same question for me. Heavy equipment/truck and trailer mechanic. My joints and lower back are reminding me daily to go look for a les physical job lol.
We have helped multiple maintenance technicians break into PLC programming jobs with our programs. Already being in a plant environment working with automated equipment gives you a big advantage.
Very correct!
You're very right.
Tell why please
hey beauty ❤
This advice seems more like the overall concept of "Doing Stuff"™
🤔🤔
100%
Sad you ppl need to hear how basic work is done
It’s hard to care man
This is how to quickly become severely underpaid in your job
🤔🤔
I try to but they keep telling me im not maintenance so stop fucking with the machines. 😂😂😂
Whoever made this has never been a machine operator in any factory.
i was about to say the same
🤔🤔
This is great advice I usually go in arguing with Management in wanting to be right. And I refuse to learn anything about the job
🤔🤔😄😄
Hello, I would like your help, I need to do a project. The PLC, an FX3U, will send the MR JE C servo to rotate to one side a certain amount of pulses entered into a register on the Sankoom HMI, when it reaches the count, the servo returns to the value of 0. Could you help me with the pins of the CN3 connector and the configuration parameters in mr2?
Carlos, sorry can't help with that at this time
Yes i want to learn PLC

Is there a balance between pushing forward and taking a step back when your brain is tired? I know automation can be go,go, go, but I don't think any plant manager or supervisor would want someone trying to program a system when they're half asleep. Let me know what you think based off your experience
Yes, things can become a much clearer after good nights sleep. Sometimes you need to take a break.
Awesome program! And you work at your own pace.
What program?

I'm student of automation but in Algeria
100% agree
❤❤❤
I'm an IT guy looking to pivot to learning electrician work, this algorithm data skimming shit is craaaazy.
my logix designer studio 5000 desn't have the st code option????
Yes I want to keep learning

Schneider Electrics’s EcoStruxure Automation Expert is the way forward 😮
To much work
😃fair enough, more opportunity for someone else I guess
@@stephendgates they can have it I’ll bring power to it and make way more from being in the union
You should not do. Pursue Business😂
@@kolayskyboy2674 doing PLC is for useless underpaid car plant workers and factory workers that try to be electricians
You’re lazy
Kindly drop a link to your academy

Where do we start from

Nice
This was honestly one of the best explanations for the use of a UDT. I have a question, how do I assign a UDT to a physical I/O channel, so hypothetically how would you link the Start_Button and Stop_Button to actual DI's?
I'm in a maintenance technician position. I want more training. Can I get more info.
Of course, start here: go.myplctraining.com/cppaccel
Is there a way to access functional diagrams on different devices
Do I need a high school diploma to start this program? I’ve been in the oil and gas industry as in electrician for the past 6 years and would like to learn more about to automation side
Did my comment even show up? God I hate youtube
😊 a kid is good give you that😊
hello. please do you have a vfd course ?
I will mention that if you already have rslinx in slot 0 for another project. To get rid of the virtual backplane you should go in configure drivers, select the old virtual backplane and click delete. This will allow you to allow to change rslinx slot number. Hopefully it helps somebody 😉😉
yep, good tip!
Does us companies hires automation engineers from foreign countries like india pakistan
I think thinking of the various different states of your system can be a good place to start
If you need to buy various brands of industrial automation products, you can contact me, ABB, Schneider, Siemens
Once you get to code it should be all fun though!
