Completely agree, in fact where I'm from, being willing to ask questions and learn is seen as intelligent due to seeking knowledge, and someone refusing to learn is what looks unintelligent. It's definitely true that we don't know everything, in fact, we can't know everything. There's so much to learn that at most, my knowledge compared to all there is to learn is like the Epcot center sphere compared to the sun. But that's good because there's always more to learn.

You might want to define what a PLC is, assuming it does not mean, "Pretty lame channel." Acronyms suck and are reused by many diferent trades to mean different things. Process Logic Controller? LOL ... Logic or level?

I know automation can be go,go, go, but I don't think any plant manager or supervisor would want someone trying to program a system when they're half asleep. I will mention that if you already have rslinx in slot 0 for another project. To get rid of the virtual backplane you should go in configure drivers, select the old virtual backplane and click delete. This will allow you to allow to change rslinx slot number. Hopefully it helps somebody 😉😉
