    wow thank you! I was handed a system that runs these PLC and controllers that use this software to fix. I am networking guy, so I connected everything on it's subnetwork. It's a system that was moved. I've never touched these types of systems before throughout my career. One of the conveyor scanners wasn't scanning a tote bin to route correctly. Some how it has a networking address on the PLC controller. Long story short I had to activate the Rockwell software to get into the configuration of these controllers to know what addresses the previous engineer programmed it with. Thanks for putting this out there for us to understand.

    Thank You for this excellent video. Can we use Studio 5000 to program 1756 and integrate old 1400 Allen Bradley PLC for a single project ?

      Mohammad, glad you enjoyed it. Studio 5000 can be used to program 1756 controllers but not MicroLogix 1400 controllers. You'll need RSLogix 500 for that.

    What is bool, dint and int? In layman's terms please. I'm in school for plc programming and I'm trying to learn and understand. Thank you sir.

      BOOL = boolean
      DINT = Double Integer
      INT = Integer
      All data types in Logix Designer
