the intro to this video taught me two things:
1. The Mavic Air 2 shoots great footage
2. Sound design is very important

The sound is what made it. I was surprised at the video quality, but blown away by the sound. I thought I clicked on a movie instead of a TH-cam video for a second.

The intro was absolutely beautiful. Whenever the scenery changed you put the appropriate music or sounds together like wind, snow, water, the boat horn. Absolutely astonishing !!! And the drone shots were just perfect as well

I’ve seen almost all the Mavic Air 2 reviews on TH-cam and this is by far the best video demo of what the drone is capable of, combined with Pete’s editing skills this was a masterpiece!

Opening scene almost brought me to tears, it was the song choice and sound design that made it.
Watched the intro now for like 50 times ... unbelievable how beautiful this short clip is crafted.
The first part of cinematic footage is awesome, putting all the extra sounds in of the trees and birds and tractor, something that looks so simple but it's just pure elegance.

the same me , but won`t say is good against strong winds from Atlantic. Perhaps the main issue is with WIFI connection and it is why gonna to switch to AIR II

@@CheeseOnEverything I think it's as much to do with dynamic range as color grade....I agree that grading plays a large part but there's a dimension to the footage that is instantly reminiscent of cinema quality footage and that can only be down to DR (I guess res plays a part, but DR is king)

I'm still using the mavic pro 1...well actually it's been over a year since I touched it. Looking at this video now things have changed 🙊
Same here i do fly mine many times a week though!!!!! If only the batteries would stop swelling!!!!
@@clouds4media496 Proper battery maintenance is the key.... charge only before flights and don't leave charged for more than 1-2 days. Never leave batteries in a hot car. Don't discharge batteries below 3.2 volts per cell, I think this translates to no lower than about 25%. Don't leave uncharged for more than a day or two... and if storing for long time make sure cells are at 3.8 volts each... so if you're flying a Mavic 2 Pro, which is a 4 cell battery that would be 15.2 volts for the the entire battery. Oh, and one last thing, never charge a battery right after a flight, wait until it cools off before charging it. If you do all these things you will not have any issues with batteries bulging on you. They're expensive, treat them right and they will last a long, long time.

I have the air 2 and it is incredible for the price. 1 note, buy the fly more combo because it is a great value. It has a 1/2" sensor which is a definite upgrade as well as both 264 and 265 codec. Depending on set up and wind I get around 28 - 31 mins flight time. I would agree with most reviewers that if you need pro lvl pics and vid buy the mavic pro 2, otherwise this is currently the best there is on the market at this price.
this mavic air 2 was a huge upgrade and it was fenomenal footage you have sir.

The spec's sound great for the money. I would be interested to know more about the low light performance of the camera and where the useable ISO ceiling is. Especially at 48MPS. Because at the moment I'm thinking that why they have the 12MPS option. Maybe you could do another video on this?

When I saw the Toronto footage I was a little concerned that this was more flouting of airspace rules that puts all of us drone pilots in jeopardy.
But I checked the airspace maps and I'm impressed how much great footage @gabrielbhappy was able to capture just outside of the Class C airspace that runs through Humber Bay. Good work!
