When I take the suggested dose of beta-alanine, my face tingles. So I take a lower dose but I do notice that I can walk longer ahen I take my walks. Because of the tingling, I was kind of afraid of it but now that I've seen this video, I know that it's not dangerous - just something that I will get used to over time. I'll take it tomorrow before my walk.

    Interesting!
I noted that a serving of hydrolized collagen (15g) contains:
    Alanine 1.26 g
    Histidine 0.47 g
Of course, this is what's needed for your body to build its own collagen.
So, how much is in a good protein, such as Whey?
    100 g of Whey contains:
    Alanine 4.2 g
    Histidine 1.4 g
I guess you can get your 500 mg of Alanine from your ordinary protein sources.
I think we should be a little careful with single amino acids, and intead rely on protein sources.
    The exceptions might be:
Taurine, which is an amino acid we don't get from protein!
Glycine, which we probably don't get enough of, although it's abundant in collagen, which we don't eat enough of.
I would start with more collagen. And only add the few things not covered by that and a good protein source.
    GlyNAC, for example.
