    Truly truly AWSOME. I just came to your conclusion myself while doing some research regarding the effect of nitric oxide in diabetics. I wish I had run across your info some time ago! Thank you so much for confirming what I thought to be true.

    What a great video!! I've studied NO for a long time but not this benefit. Doesn't apply to me (yet) but friends of mine can benefit. I got interested to get help in my gym life. good to know all the ways NO beneafits me.

    What evidence? What studies show that? Please describe the studies.

    Instead of talking on and on, will you please just say whether or not there is any evidence that raising nitric oxide can lower elevated Hemoglobin A1C?

    I am curious why you elected to not include exposure to natural sunlight (heliotherapy) and/or indoor artificial UV light as another important means of boosting nitric oxide production via UVA dermal nitric oxide production in this video? I notice you did make mention of the benefits of natural sunlight exposure (UVA dermal nitric oxide production) in your August 20, 2020 video with respect to lowering blood pressure.

      No particular reason.............. probably didn't cross my mind at the time or I was trying to keep it short. I do think the skin is a useful source of nitric oxide.

      @@Betterbodychemistry Thank you for the clarification. I was one of those people who spent the first 58 years of my life having been mis-educated by modern society that exposure to the sun was bad and to always use sunscreen when out in the sun. Now in my 59th year I just learned a few months ago that modest sun exposure is quite healthful and has been known to be so for many centuries. In addition to producing Vitamin D and nitric oxide there are many other direct and indirect health benefits from UV light. Ideally from exposure to natural sunlight, but also from UV tanning beds where adequate exposure to natural sunlight is not available in the high northern and southern latitudes or available only on a seasonal basis is the moderate latitudes during summer.
      I learned from and enjoyed these longer more in depth lecture style videos on the history of sun exposure (heliotherapy) and the many health benefits (including overall mortality) associated with exposure to UV light. Unfortunately, no cool entertaining graphics and an overall blander presentation in comparison to your videos. It would be great to see a video that touches upon the history and more comprehensive overall benefits to natural sunlight and/or artificial UV light for those who do not have reasonable access to natural sunlight.

    What is the effect of nitric oxide to kidney?

    • @Betterbodychemistry
      @Betterbodychemistry  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The kidney plays an important role in body NO homeostasis and in the metabolically challenged the levels are disrupted. The general consensus is improving nitric oxide levels would be beneficial. I took a quick look at PUBMED - not a lot of research in this area
