I’ve come to realise Thiamine plays a big role in my health issues, but this video has explained a lot. Thank you. I do seem to have issues absorbing or utilising it even though I take quite a bit, & B vitamins in general & yes I do have a lot of internal ‘guests’ which undoubtedly affect the uptake. I suspect it’s been an issue for years. I’ve been diabetic 23 years, overweight for 50 years, lost my energy around 14 & I’m now in my mid 60’s. I seem to have struggled with food most of my life, eat mostly whole foods & can only lose weight on a VERY low calorie diet. I so wish I could get the spark back…..
A largely underrepresented EPIDEMIC, caused by the high carb, high sugar, frequent caffeine and frequent booze in our culture. Also all these diuretics, metformin, and gastric bypass. We're doomed unless we make big changes.
You need benfotimin , it's a fat soluble B1 , you can use other B1 too . See EO nutrition for help with B1 . But as this channel says if you have insulin and or metabolic problems watch . Also most people are low in Digestive enzymes , you need them to absorb all nutrients . Do your nutrition research folks .
Best explanation I've heard!
The frozen dew drops made me laugh out loud...just love your graphics. Another great video thank you!
Will take my B1 seperatly from now on. Thanks!

I take 100 mgs a day. Helps a lot. Thanx.
I am a fan of your videos for both content and graphics! Serious topics are felt explained like a child's play. Congrats!
Glad you like them!

Actually TTFD could also be optimal for some people, but yes Elliot is amazing!
I wish you would discuss the types of B2 to take as I've read some forms are poorly absorbed.
There is a fat soluble form of thiamine supplement - is that a lot better than ordinary thiamine?
Short answer "I have know idea". Since the vitamin Bs are considered water soluble vitamins, probably not a huge advantage.
