"Ratio" In mathematics, a ratio indicates how many times one number contains another. For example, if there are eight oranges and six lemons in a bowl of fruit, then the ratio of oranges to lemons is eight to six. Similarly, the ratio of lemons to oranges is 6:8 and the ratio of oranges to the total amount of fruit is 8:14, and I see no math there

I know it’s sort of a joke song, but Scatman John actually had a pretty inspirational life. He was born with a stutter that made him too nervous to sing, so he played piano for most of his career. It was only in his 50s that he decided to become a scat performer and made this song as a way to inspire kids with stutters. It made him a worldwide hit, (especially in Japan for some reason) and he did two more notable songs before he died of lung cancer a few years later at 57. He was completely at peace when he passed, declaring: ‘Whatever God wants is fine by me ... I've had the very best life. I have tasted beauty.’ Scatman John. Legend. Edit: Cheers to everyone who liked. May the Scatman bless every one of ye.
You can literally see how amazed they are by each other when they look over to them rocking their thing. The bassist especially getting into it when he starts his scat riffs, and the way Scatman just FOCUSES on the guitar like he's another member of the audience.

This song got a lot of people off the well-worn paths of pop, rock, hip-hop, and rap and introduced them to new worlds of music that would **never** get coverage on the radio. A young person I know has become a HUGE Ella Fitzgerald fan specifically because of 'Scatman'.
I like this version very much and what a rare thing to hear and see acts from this era actually perform live without full playback. Nice. May you rest peacefully John, we will remember you everytime we hear your songs giving us a good time.

You can see how he feels the music even as he plays and sings. It's actually magical.
