Arriving 1 Hr. and 34 Min. late, today's California Zephyr #5 made its station stop in Fort Morgan at 0734 MST. P42s #51 & #164 (in Phase IV livery) brought the 8-car consist to a single spot - two car service stop with 1 passenger stepping from car 4 and 5 passengers detraining from car 7. Then 1 new passenger joined car 7.
With the station work safely completed the high ball was given and on a clear signal the Zephyr departed for its next stop at Union Station in Denver.
Yes. That is sunlight reflecting from snow on the Rocky Mountains to the west and both sides of the train.
