Thanks everyone for the 2,000 Subs! Please Enjoy! 🥳👋 Got a cool train here at the beginning! Lots of cool containers, and over 3 Miles long!! 😃😎 Also, we take a close up look at the Dragging Equipment Detector here!
Amazing double stack-car train. This train is longest than Library Tower and John Hancock Center and Willis Tower and Empire State Billing and 1 World Trade Center and KL-TV Tower but shortest than Rockey Mountain.
Yes they did, I followed it from Colton to the Salton Sea. It was an ECP Test Train or Electically Controlled Pneumatic Brakes. I never heard anything else about ECP tho..
Cool, but it seems like the longer the trains get, the less they are able to use the sidings, which would hurt operations, not expedite them. Or are they lengthening the sidings?
Right, most train lengths on this line used to be limited to about 8,000 feet because that was the length of most sidings on the route. But, once UP double tracked a majority of the Sunset Route, train length restrictions weren't a problem anymore for meets, so they increased the train lengths up to 16,000 feet. I think that was the a main reason UP double tracked the Sunset Route, so they can run longer trains.
I like trains but I don't want to be stuck at a grade railroad crossing by one of these mammoth trains. This is why the FRA, STB is considering to mandate railroads don't operate theses oversized trains....

Wow what a monster 👻 👽 load that was 😮, great freight train 🚆 captures 👌 👍 awesome viewing 👏 👌 👍
Thanks Trevor! It was a cool one!😎
One of the best things...no freaking music!
Some music ! At the right time. Check out Acme ?
Man , what a great production! I really enjoyed the soundtrack and mix. Great piloting! 712 AXLES!
Thank you very much!👋😎
Greetings from Japan. This double stack-car train is longest than Mt. Fuji and another mauntains in Japan.
Monstrueux la longueur de ces trains. Merci pour les détails grace aux drones. Bon dimanche.
That's a Looooong train.....and the view from the drone is amazing.....love it..
Thank you very much
Absolutely an awesome Video!👍😃
Thank you! 👍😎👋
I can say this is the greatest video I seen until now
Appreciate it!👋
More excellent blending of media! I’m enjoying your videos. Thanks
Appreciate that!
Man that's one damn long train! 🐨🦘
È stato un bellissimo video pure come presentazione è stata bellissima con il suono e le diciture stupendo lavoro 👍👏👏👏
Thank you!👋
Great video! Love the UNION PACIFIC, BUILDING AMERICA 🇺🇸. I am surprised not to see any Prime containers on these trains.
Yea me too, I never see them on UP. Thank you very much CJ😎👋
I think BNSF has the contract with Prime right now
It is an intermodal train, so no domestic freight.
@@tonywebster5768 Yup, All International boxes on this one.
@@CalebA-sv2kw I wonder if we'll ever see Prime on UP.. I know UP got a lot of Sneider traffic from BNSF a few years back.
Amazing double stack-car train. This train is longest than Library Tower and John Hancock Center and Willis Tower and Empire State Billing and 1 World Trade Center and KL-TV Tower but shortest than Rockey Mountain.
Magnifique vidééo avec le drone qui anime un peu la longueur des trains Merci et à bientôt. Amicalement de France.
Thanks!
Lucky no emergency services had to cross the railroad crossing.
Union Pacific actually ran a 3 mile intermodal train from Dallas to LA back in January 2011. It was 18,061 feet long with 9 engines 3-2-2-2 set up.
Yes they did, I followed it from Colton to the Salton Sea. It was an ECP Test Train or Electically Controlled Pneumatic Brakes. I never heard anything else about ECP tho..
UP does run 3 mile trains daily on the sunset route, nothing more than 250 cars usually though
ILBG4-23
251 loads 0 emptys 13,763 tons 15,821 feet
Great, thanks!😎 Where do you get the info?
There is a wide cleared area near the tracks most of the way…. Is it for additional new trackage for the eventual commuter traffic out to Indio
OR?
I'm not sure what that wide area is for. Thanks for watching.👍
Nice photography by drones camera.
Thank you very much!😎
First comment!! Hell yeah!!
hahaha
Mediterranean Cruise train😎
😅😅 haha exactly
Pray there is no derailment.
You need a lot of patience sitting at these crossing with the length of some of these trains
Bnsf would have 4 up front and two on the back. Up really pushes their engine's
And 2 in the middle
haha, True. They put on way more power!
@@RRTrainVideos UP stalls all the time coming up to tehachapi from Bakersfield
Nice catch Rob as always did you get a new microphone or just using a different filter ? Thanks for the wonderful sights and sounds.
Thanks Caleb and Yes I did! It's a Rode Wireless 2 Mic, compared to just recording on my phone. 😎 Pretty cool so far.
Nice video , great drone shot !!
Is it a grease flanger at 3:40 ?
@louisletourneau3429 Thank you! 😎 And Yea, there are a couple greasers there
My guessing…. 1 container full to the max 40 tons 🤔
That was a three mile train😊 15:03
😎
I think I can, I think I can...will the three mile long container train make the hill?
Haha they did make it. They usually get down to around 10mph on the way up.
Cool, but it seems like the longer the trains get, the less they are able to use the sidings, which would hurt operations, not expedite them. Or are they lengthening the sidings?

Combining two trains together.. eliminate two crew members, got it!
Nightmare for first responders
R.M. Young wind speed and direction unit at the detector.
Interesting!
Two guys doing what used to be done with six, and three trains. This is driven by nothing but greed.
MSC is Mediterranean Shipping Company? Yes?
Yes MSC is the largest shipping company in the world right now. ONE is number 6 HMM is number 8
@@CalebA-sv2kw Very Interesting!
I counted whole 253 cars on that train. Counting the Diesel locomotives is far easier.
Haha, yea. Thanks for the count
@@RRTrainVideos I was hoping the public would like it. I didn't want to count twice to make sure the counting was precise.
YOU,,,
YOU describe it as----- the train is traveling from east to west direction,,, ALRIGHT,,,,
That is not,,,
NOT difficult,,,,
I wonder if APL went out of business.
Unfortunately I don't see them too much.
I like trains but I don't want to be stuck at a grade railroad crossing by one of these mammoth trains. This is why the FRA, STB is considering to mandate railroads don't operate theses oversized trains....
If this train pull 400 containers which weight 60000 each that like 24,000,000 pound plus equal 12,000 ton
Yup, it's a heavy one, depending on whats in the containers!
@RRTrainVideos I know I work with ProLogistix unloaded containers here and Illinois
So, next trains are going to be 4 to 6miles long?
Not as long as the 700 cars & 26 locomotives (10 miles long) on another video . . .
Amazing train but 13mph is ridiculous.
Getting more & more ridiculous!
Sounds like some square wheels right up front.
