HULLOOO! So, FINALLY, here's another vintage video! I told you they weren't gone forever!
For those of you begging for a Face Awards Wrap-Up/Storytime, it's coming! I'm doing a two-part vlog that I'll start editing next, and at the end of the second part I plan to do a little wrap-up. So yes, it's a-comin', just might be another week or two cuz it's a LOT of footage hahaha. Anyways I LOVE YOU ALL!

@Jennifer Jones The Face Awards was sorta based around youtube, so they used everyone's TH-cam names! Everyone's else's channel was mostly their full names hehe

What I love about rachel's style is that she takes so many items and pieces from different eras. And then she's not dressed in vintage clothes from a certain period..noooo oh nooooo she created the 'rachel look'...and wow isn't it the best vintage look i've ever seen 😍😍😍
I literally gasped when I saw that black velvet skirt, imagine how magical you'd look by pairing it with the Lestat shirt! Also, I think the shoes are called Oxfords, although the only reason I would know that is because of the Kingsmen movie...

i thought brogues had the detailing and the extra 'patch' on the front, while oxfords are one piece with no detailing.
From Fashion Dictionary - Brogues are further classified into full brogues(wingtip), semi-brogues, quarter brogues and long wing brogues, etc. An Oxford is a Brogue without the detailing done on the cap. They are characterized by closed lacing.

I think it’s called a “mock neck.” A boat is more like a crew neck but wider
I concur.. lol yeah the red shirt is a mock turtleneck, a boatneck is similar to a crew neck however it goes from shoulder to shoulder to show more of your decolletage, than a standard crew.

I just friggin LOVE the authenticity of your vintage style! I feel like whenever I look for vintage/retro inspo online it tends to be a little too "perfect" or colourful or even...plastic in a way? I love the colourscheme you're going for and just ughh it's lovely and you're soo so gorgeous and absolutely brilliant at putting things together!
Your taste is great! There's a few things I want to mention, 1) Don't endure itchy wool skirts, wear a slip! 2) The red sweater is a "mock turtleneck", a "boat neck" is a long open collar from shoulder to shoulder (a bra strap's worst enemy!) 3) That forever 21 shirt with the "sweetheart neckline" is fabulous and would even look period untucked and belted, the peplum was a big 40s look! I always love your videos, keep it up! Fantastic editing too!
Im sure those with vision impairments ( poor vision, color blind, etc.) Are very happy that you describe them. But i personally like that you do.

Oooo naturalizers are super comfy too at least the pairs I have are I have a few pairs of low heels from them and at the end of the day you aren’t dreaming of taking them off amazing love those kinds of shoes that your feet don’t feel like they are in prison in
