I had the 1 speaker version and they have some great sound quality for the price. I just bought this one for playing drums and guitar along with. I've used this thing in all types of weather conditions. It's been rained on, snowed on, dropped off the back of a truck and more. It got stolen which is the only reason why I'm upgrading. lol
I use mine in my blacksmith shop, which can get extreme in conditions, not just weather temps, and such, but also with dust and debris. I turn my Onn party speaker on when I walk in around 6am, and turn it off when I leave around 12am, it runs wide open all day every day, 6 days a week. Has never given me a single moments worth of trouble. I blow it out with my compressor once every couple weeks, and that's about it. If I unplug it, battery still lasts several days. Buy one!!!
I am 74 years young and a preacher. I now have two of them in my man cave. When I bought the second one the Wallmart cashmere asked “You’re buying this?” I said “ I have another one home.” If you place them in corners, the sound is multiplied!
My neighbor, she's in her 80s, son and his boyfriend had just left their house... they live right next door to me. But the houses run longways front to back and I had my speaker on in my hallway just to get that surrounding effect as I did stuff in the house. I go outside to smoke and the son and his boyfriend pulled back up and a minute or two later the boyfriend asks me if I seen anyone go to their house or if I had knocked on the woman's door. Man, that had to been the knock of the wall knockers I had playing in the house. She thought that was someone knocking on her door, and i didn't have em up all that loud, either.
@ I Think they sound better sideways (Larger side on the floor were the floor pads are on the side), like it is on display @ Walmart, just my humble opinion :)
I bought one and let me tell you.... the sound is phenomenal!! I was in disbelief at how crisp the music sounded. The bass boost function is the icing on the cake. I might have to go buy another one .. lol! excellent review my good man!!
There was a speaker the last night at an outdoor party - i was actually blown away… the bass is tight, crisp highs and full mids. I could not believe they are so cheap! And mind me, i owe Dynaudio Core 47’s for an audio production worth of $5K+…
I heard one today that a friend had and trust me I ordered it. I will have tomorrow and I plan on getting another one in the next two weeks. These speakers are really good
I see people comparing these to a $300 JBL. They say the JBL is a little better. Now, my thought was run 2 of these or even 3 for the same money against the JBL and tell me how that turns out lol. I just bought 2 of these and I think they are awesome!!
@@KedrickFoster i am using a mixer with mine. You could actually use them in pairs. You could Bluetooth link the left 2 and the right 2. Then use a mono to stereo aux cable to run to the left and right. Easy 2 speakers per side.
I live in a 55+ community in Florida, and it's heavily flooded with golf carts. I put mine right on the crate of my golf cart strap it down with a bungee and that baby sounds so sweet. And when the sun goes, the party lights come... I'm just 46 years old, single, and sober 2 years now, but some of these 55+ folks daughter's come to visit, or some chick's passing through stop for the weekend... we have live music 5 to 9, 7 days a week and the bars... but if they stop on the passing through I have no problem showing them what The Villages is about. But yeah, sounds great no matter where you are at.
You said them two speakers has battery building in with on. How can you put new batteries in or do you can you charge them plug them in to charge the batteries built-in
I tried out my nephews speaker the other day and I was very surprised by it, just pulled the trigger on one for myself. Unbelievable steal at the price, I’ve used JBL in the past while the JBL does sound better in my opinion it’s not that big of difference for the price point. The ONN still sounds incredible!!!
We have the small one and large one for Camping. Our camp site is always lit haha. Plan on getting another large one and keeping the small one at home. For $120 at Walmart, I couldn't believe how loud and crisp they are.
awesome video! I have one and am interested in buying another but can’t find a video on how to pair them. Is there any way you could show how to pair or explain to me? thank you!!
i paid 150 for mine and it was totally worth it. they sound super clear up to about 90% and they muddy out a little bit but its so loud at 90% the last 10% isnt needed. i leavea mine plugged in and at a 45 degree angle where the 2 walls meet in the corner of my room i set the speaker about 1-2ft away from edge of wall which inceases the bas 3 fold. when i go in the car i open the back hatch and set it its side so its stable and leave the back bass port about 1ft away from the back hatch so the bass has a nice surface to bounce off of making it again 3 fold louder than if it was simply sitting in the middle of my car. just like you would place you car sub in the back in a corner i do the same with the bass port for this speaker. worth every penny.
I have the medium for only a month. The power button clicks but wont turn the device on ? Anyone else have this problem. I have already tried reset button in back of device and tried holding down power button for 20 secs idk why it randomly stopped working. It takes a charge fine and will light up for a sec when being plugged in .
@KedrickFoster all good I bought a new one and returned old one in the new box lmao only way around the 30 day policy and the serial number on both the speakers were the same. So the number on barcode on boxes was same exact number on both speakers lmao.
love mine its awesome. Its 60w rms when its unplugged and when you plug it in it goes up to 160w rms so its a bit louder plugged in. Either way worth every dollar.
I got mine for 120$.. I like the bass it’s amazing but I don’t like how the battery get low very quick if you have it full blast and you will also hear some cracking randomly when just pared and in the back bass port will make some rattle sound…
Interesting, I never had that problem. I also mostly use it plugged up because I noticed it's louder while plugged in. I need to try that out to see if I have the same problem
I was considering a JBL Partybox 100 and 110. They’re just too expensive. Obviously JBL’s will have better overall sound quality, but the difference between the two is not worth an extra $250+ bucks. I bought one with the intention of it living in my campground shed for music on the deck. I tested it out in my garage at home and had to get another because I wanted to keep one in my garage. I took the extendable handle off because the speaker is not that heavy, and it has a grab handle built in. I find it annoying that it doesn’t remember the light mode it was last in. It starts in rainbow mode every time. I keep an old phone connected to Wi-Fi in my garage to stream music to it so I can move about the house with my phone. I also couldn’t switch the Bluetooth connection to a different phone without turning off the Bluetooth on the paired phone because it always reconnects to that phone. If I pressed and held the Bluetooth button, it looks for 2nd speaker and doesn’t disconnect the Bluetooth device. I intend to use them plugged in so I don’t really care that the battery doesn’t last that long at high volume. I had it in the back seat of my truck playing on battery, and it lasted about an hour at roughly 80% before the battery meter lost 1 bar (out of 4 so I guess batt at 75%). The volume reduced significantly. Probably to 50%ish. Trying to run a party on battery, these would not last long, but at a low volume it will likely run for a long time. That’s probably how they arrive at 12hr run time listed on the box. These speakers have plenty of volume and the bass is great. You’re getting a lot of BANG for your buck with this speaker. For $120 they’re a great deal. And an absolute steal at $100. This is the best review I saw for it. Thanks for taking the time to do it. Nice man cave!
@fieldmanstyle1831 thank you for the review and I have definitely experienced everything you mentioned, especially the Bluetooth issue but I kinda like that it automatically pairs as soon as I turn the speaker on so I'm cool with it. Yo, word on my life... I shit you not... the 1st generation was WAAAAAAAÀAAAAY better! I'll admit it didnt have the wheels or telescoping handle but it had everything else and better... well, maybe not everything, but the speakers, and I do like the sound Pt 2 does put out when it's laying it down... but Pt 1 had better light modes/routines/patterns, maybe?! I just brought one two days ago the only thing I don't like about it don't have a usb function why do I need to charge any on my speakers I wanna play music any type of way if I bluetooth I'll have to worry about my phone dying youtube ads i got 10 usb drive with over 2000 songs on each one why would they make a party speaker without that particular function on it this 2024 everything suppose be updated to the tee
yeah that’s a good point!
Yeah this was definitely disappointing
I have 2 of them and use my Jackery either the 300 POWER STATION or the Jaclery 1000 POWER STATION because I am out all day long and I do blast those speakers to the max. You want louder sound? I use my iPod Classic at AUXILIARY and it sounds even more loud. $119 at Walmart. I am about to get 2 more for my house use only and the other 2 outdoors. It's a steal, it's ONN!🙂👆👆👆
Dude... you DO need a "Seizure Warning" at your man cave's entrance 😁
Lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I have gen 1 and it is worth it
nice
Would it work with a receiver for wireless micrphones??
yes, it has a mic input in the back
@KedrickFoster just purchase 1. Can't beat it for the price. Loud enough, bass is deep enough for my living room. Mic set up is decent but good enough for karokee. Ty.
Where's Flossy Carter?
??
I have a pair……nothing can beat 2 of these for under $250….they cost me 119 each
Exactly!
I have a wireless mic, bought it in Temu $10 super nice. Does anyone know if the mic sound will come out of both speakers?
nope it only comes out the one the adapter is connected to.
I use one in my car
nice!
The smaller one is better. These are horrible they only go to 30 and can't be heard far away
I haven't tried the smaller one, I gotta check it out
I'll have to check out the smaller version, once it goes on sale. I'm LOVING the Large Party Speakers.
WANT FUN WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS? ONN
WANT TO DO TECHNICAL ANALYSIS? JBL
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yo, word on my life... I shit you not... the 1st generation was WAAAAAAAÀAAAAY better! I'll admit it didnt have the wheels or telescoping handle but it had everything else and better... well, maybe not everything, but the speakers, and I do like the sound Pt 2 does put out when it's laying it down... but Pt 1 had better light modes/routines/patterns, maybe?! And the speakers and the sound output was way above the Pt 2's standard. I was sad when this b*tch stile my Onn. large party box, and my golf cart... and she stole my feather pillow... shit, she didn't even have a bed to sleep in and she stole my dang pillow!!
Speekeh…
No se quien será el fabricante de onn, pero los speakers suenan de lujo!
it’s a walmart brand and i agree!
