It is interesting that the speaker that's twice the size as the other is half the price... Even if components are much better on the JBL, you would think they'd at least be the same price. I'm looking at buying the Onn but trying to snag one at a local pawn shop or marketplace.

@Jagistreviews ye it is. also, I picked up a philips mms171w from Good Will, and it keeps making a sound . The sub goes in and out, and it won't play anything. idk what's happening
But even it was a unfair vid the I still perfer jbl partybox encore even If it’s smaller than the onn large party speaker, the partybox encore has more better bass response and very loud and if bass goes away I can use the jbl app and equalize the bass even more
Probably I still perfer the jbl partybox encore like you did mention that the bass goes a bit away at 100% volume well I can use bass boost 2 plus I can use the jbl partybox app to equalize or turn up the bass to the jbl partybox encore
The encore does have a bit of a more clean and better sound, the onn is more warm but does have a decent amount more bass especially at the higher volumes, both are good, and very different price range
The onn is on sale at Walmart for 128$ with tax. The only thing is it has a lot of things I didn’t like…. 1.the battery is like 4hrs or less max volume 2.The rattle you hear on some songs in the bass port 3.sometimes it will randomly power off after 15 or so mins of playing low volume 4.some times you will randomly hear a pop crack in the front which can get annoying That’s all… 😅 it’s ok for 128$ with tax
@Pupp3tmaster-uq3yz ha ha their first gen stuff I didn't buy, but their 2nd gen stuff is actually pretty dang good, also their sound bars are pretty legit I'm actually surprised at how good there stuff has been for me, at least the stuff I have tried so far
@@Jagistreviews yea maybe but the bright tuning of encore makes it come out louder which is impressive for its but for bass the Onn wins in overall balance but those super low notes which can’t really hear to well the encore is still putting them out I feel like it’s better than the Onn as in deep bass it reaches lower I hear but bass power no way but the Onn is the better speaker for parties in this battle because of this bass you get it’s better suited for parties than the encore

what is battery like for the ONN, if i took it outdoors on a camping trip. I want to have loudish music for a couple people, probably not max volume
It's about the same as the jbl partybox 110, you'll get a few hours at max and maybe like 5 or 6 hours at 50 percent

No encore is decent but the onn is same volume as the jbl partybox 110 which is more loud than the encore with more bass
