My grandparents lived in a small town called, the village Of South Vienna. It is in between Columbus and Springfield right off of 40. I spent a lot of summers there cutting grass on the tractor with my grandpa. That’s were I learned to drive. I sure do miss my grandparents and the piece that I felt when I was there!!!!! I believe it's a top radiator hose for a bathtub caprice. You put on a thermostat housing that points backwards and to the left of the car, then the hose wraps nicely around the back of the alternator and should give you enough length to reach the top of the radiator. Nice and clean.
Yep 91 throttle body caprice, I just did it on an 81 trans am with serpentine setup, you will need a cheap swivel thermostat housing. It raps around the back of the alternator and fits perfect. It’s a tight fit on the water necks, I think the hose ID diameter is 1-1/4” where some are 1-3/8 to 1-1/2”, just oil it and stretch it on, works great and cools good, I was concerned the smaller diameter might run a little warmer but nope.
Hey Bill. Did you know you can clock the back half of the alternator? I had that exact same problem, took out the 4 bolts clocked it put it back on and it's all set!

Fuel in my area was at stopping $2 to $2.20a gallon for a few years before the plandemic... It fluctuated some based on demand yes but it never went to $3.50 a gallon!
The next small block you guys should build for the track should be an 18 degree headed 434cid with EFI and twins and eventually Billy should build a 632cid BBC for the Nova with twin Pro Mod 98s and really set the world on fire

Well Bill I know you need to take a break now and then but let me tell you I sure get bored when you or the boys don't post a video. It's the highlight of my day. Lol I live a very simple life I work and go home that's about it. I can't waite to hear the Malibu run . You guys are so lucky to have a jegs not to far from where you live. For me well not so lucky there was Jake's speed shop but it closed back around 1980 or so and the super shops they had in my home town closed along time ago. So anything I buy new has to be shipped. It took 4 months to get the AFR heads I have on my big block another month and a half for the intake. So today after work I have to bring the intake to the machine shop. I hope we can put my motor on the dyno in the next couple of weeks. And next I am going to start collecting parts for my next motor. I grew up about 10 or 12 miles from da pad in New Orleans next time you guys come out this way I sure would like to take you guys out to eat my treat. Now I live about 45 miles or so from da pad I moved on the other side of th lake where life is a little slower.lol. sorry my message turned into a book but you guy are a good example of what family suppose to be. I love these videos. I’ve been Jonesing for one . I look forward to the videos from your whole family regularly. I heard you mention the charging post hit the valve cover on the Malibu. You can take the 4 bolts out and re-clock the charging post. You turn the whole body to a new position. It’ll require a paper clip slid through the brushes to get the cases back together. I have to do this with nearly every alternator I put in my ChevyII’s with big blocks in them

Malibu a couple of things you might want to check. water pump is it turning the right direction. The serpentine belt changes the direction. The fuel line size and fuel pump. Need to feed that beast. Good luck.

We had a RC Car track next door to my Friends place. Use that black tubing I saw in your yard to circle the outside of the corners to keep them from flying off the banks. It worked for us anyway even though it was a road course.
Now those R4 compressors will not pump R134A for very long or maybe not at all, get the Sanden compressor kit for it and dont forget to change out the dryer, a modern condenser is not a bad idea and use Ester oil

If the 540 will make 700 on motor, it should make around 1400hp on 15lbs, and about 2100hp on 30lbs. And I'm sure he won't stop at 30lbs

I love these videos. I’ve been Jonesing for one . I look forward to the videos from your whole family regularly. I heard you mention the charging post hit the valve cover on the Malibu. You can take the 4 bolts out and re-clock the charging post. You turn the whole body to a new position. It’ll require a paper clip slid through the brushes to get the cases back together. I have to do this with nearly every alternator I put in my ChevyII’s with big blocks in them

Malibu a couple of things you might want to check. water pump is it turning the right direction. The serpentine belt changes the direction. The fuel line size and fuel pump. Need to feed that beast. Good luck.
Thank you src Iost my dog on my birthday a few weeks ago yesterday I lost my best friend I would go over his house every day and watch you and vice grip garage and cleatus you braught joy to a car guy that couldn't be in the garage anymore he was bed riden for a long time and he always waited till I got out of work and we would watch you every night even if was something we saw a dozen times you touch so many people please keep it up am working on a nova myself he couldn't wait to see it done helped with everything he could I'm going to Finnish this winter been hard getting parts but I will be done and planning on doing some racing next year probably loos every race but for my friend I have to Finnish to try thank you for the memories

We had a RC Car track next door to my Friends place. Use that black tubing I saw in your yard to circle the outside of the corners to keep them from flying off the banks. It worked for us anyway even though it was a road course.

Now those R4 compressors will not pump R134A for very long or maybe not at all, get the Sanden compressor kit for it and dont forget to change out the dryer, a modern condenser is not a bad idea and use Ester oil

Bill you need to go and get about 35 (or more) Solar powered walk way lights to put around the Track for Night Racing, 15 inside and 20 outside the track? (Vicky will love the idea). The track needs more banking and a Jump & or a canine down the back straight away. It's a Good thing if the Dart broke the rear end , her Hemi would have broke it, I'd rebuild that dart rear end.
