Definitely check over before a test ride, i went to look at a raptor recently and guy said here take it for a ride. Jumped on went down the street the throttle stuck, luckily I didn't panic pulled clutch and hit the kill. After inspecting it the frame was cracked and numerous other issues.

Or, if they're real pricks you will get the whole "I got 3 other people that want it so f-off!" I bought a400ex for $800 but it's rough! Rideable, but very rough. No lights front or back, cracked/twisted a- arm, broken front bumper & no brakes front or rear, exhaust is rattling apart as well. Did i get ripped off?
I have quite a few useable parts for an 88’ and 91’ lt250r. Almost a complete quad. engine needs all new bearings, crank, piston and a few transmission components. What do you think, Build or sell?
I have a quick question I bought a 2001 polaris scrambler 2 stroke 400 for $600 n the previous owner said to mix the gas your self is better then letting the bike mix it for you.
All up to you oil injection sometimes shits out or clogs up and that’s not good if you delete the oil injection and pre mix yourself then at least you know it’s done right
All you said was check the chain . ??? How tight or loose should it be ?? It definitely should have a little play in it right. I mean it shouldn't be so tight you can't even move it at all should it ? ... thanks... I see on the one you said check the chain on ,it looks like it has a little slope on it.

Can I buy blaster parts off you I live in jersey I'll come pick up also my quad has rev hang ...leak down tested 3 times ..new throttle cable ..looked at the boot for air box and everything I just listed is good ..fmf pipe bosion reed block with carbon reeds ...open air box . Bored .0020 over ..running 93 with 2 stroke racing oil but just regular car oil for case ...I changed the jets pilot is 35 and the main is a 300 the needle clip in center ..fouled plug in one day now I knew this was gonna be too rich but with it getting cold out now and Haven no air box lid I may not be off too much as of November or December when it's cold as fuck and I'm 8 miles from the ocean but either way still have major rev hang when in nuteral or when clutch is pulled in and you rev it ...o yea and I have no tors system and I have a idle screw in it ..sprayed wd40 all over everything when running and no idle rev ...please help

Start with plug chop. if leak down test and compression are good plug chop show you your mix ratio if it's right or not. you said you have a tors delete kit. start with your air screw all the way in turn it out one and a half turns and then adjust your idle screw to your desired idle. plug chop
Crank seal was leaking..leak down test showed fine numbers so I guess it only leaked when driven. Crank was purple and blue and all different colors by the time it blew from heat. Now I have trenched case and 4 mm stroker with everything changed so w.e. But thank you for the suggestion.

the FIRST thing you should do is run the VIN # on your cell phone to make sure it is not stolen then spend the time on the checks.
then after you purchase first and most important thing to do is to attach a train horn on the front.

check the front sprocket and case to make shure its not jb welded got ripped on a yfz that started leaking oil around front sprocket great video
