Nail polish might deteriorate with hands being on it. From all the sweat, dirt and oil hands may have. Try it out on the g2c first so you don’t mess up new g3 😂
Demetrius T I have already color filled the slide on the g3. From the looks of the g3 itself I think it would wear off in a day. I’ll look at the G2c and see how the Taurus logo is on that one. Nothing that a little nail polish remover can’t take off anyway
I did it on my g3c, and it worked…..but it was a pain, and it smeared the side kinda bad and was much harder than a glock. I’m hoping it’ll wear off any extra little white spots
This was about 3 years ago and it still recharges I had to re apply it a couple times though. Looking back I just recommend getting tritium ones if you want it to be permanent
I've seen a few videos like this but nobody ever says how long the colorfill will last before you have to reapply. How long does this last? Just dont want to have to do this once a week.
3 years later it still recharges. Only downside is it has fallen off a few times and than had to be reapplied. If you clean it really well it stays better
I think it will dull the finish. One person claimed using non acetone dulled his finish, but I’ve done it to about 8 different firearms and have yet to have that happen.
@@brandoxantana I don’t really know what would be good for it. I have some ideas like a can of paint thinner, but I don’t want to be responsible for it messing up your slide
thepatriotsrock2 I just make sure it’s not covered in any type of oil. I don’t go any further than that. I’ve never had any issues with it staying. Now if I were painting or getting the whole slide cerakoated or however that’s spelled, than I would use something like a solvent.

Tanner Abels can you send me an email with photos of the slide and the nail polish remover you used ridingwithcola@gmail.com. I’m not saying it didn’t happen I’m just curious cause I’ve done this to over 10 different firearms including the g3 and it’s never altered the finish on any of them. @@brandoxantana it didn’t remove the color it removed the finish. So the slide is like a matte finish it dulled the color and made it smoother. I’ve since sold it and got another one, will not do that again. Used the correct products and everything
I was a bit nervous to do my weapon but after seeing you do yours you gave me the confidence that I can do mine thanks brother
Well that was easy and straight to the point…thanks
Wow that is SUPER CLEAN man! Thanks for the tutorial!
This makes Taurus look much more attractive. I’m about to do my G3C.
Me too! I got 3 taruses I love them
Does this corrod the gun any over time and how long does it stay
Do you need to put a clear coat over it
Can I use running alcohol instead of the polish remover? Is it safe? I can’t find non acetone no where near me and am impatient to order and wait.

You should color fill your g3 now! Also can you color fill the Taurus logo on grips?
