Or add gain and do single note violin or saxophone like lines. Slowly of course, but to phrase as if you are a human voice. I sometimes follow with this tone right along with the lead vocals.... if done proper, it adds a fullness to the sound. Soloing at church the same way, but the notes must be long winded so to speak. Thats my experience.
