I've been playing guitar for forty years. This is one of the best videos I have seen. Thank you so much for sharing. Based on the videos I have seen from you, you are the best guitar instructor on youtube.
Brilliant video! This is an element to my playing I’ve been missing and this is a great breakdown. I was one of those false subscribers you mentioned. Your videos keep coming up and I didn’t realize I wasn’t subscribed. Fixed now!
@slowdive101, you are very welcome! I already have a part 2 but it isn't scheduled to be released for a little while yet. I do however, have other Rhythm Fill videos already on the channel: th-cam.com/video/EZYix-4cijI/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/DvVjFxUENb4/w-d-xo.html
Terrific lesson, connected the dots for how to use triads, thirds, double stops with a chord progression. It’ll take a bunch of practice. Thanks next step is to sign up for class. While this is for acoustic, I think it can port to electric guitar, correct?
Great video really nice riffs. I'm struggling atm with hearing the difference between Standard and compound time. e.g 3/4 and 6/6 that might be a good lesson!
@nigelssongs, glad you liked the lesson :) Great suggestion regarding simple versus compound time signatures. It's all about feeling the pulse with compound time signatures.

@willernst, glad you liked the video :) And thanks for the sub, much appreciated!
Very cool stuff. I have so much to learn. I don't even know lead guitar yet. Not sure where to start learning :/
@teleplayer7081, glad you liked the video! Yes, lead guitar is a big and vast subject. Pentatonic scales are a great place to start.
Amazing video. Thank you so much. I'd love a part 2 that explores more variations on these riffs/licks.

@lelinkant5875, thanks! Glad you liked the video :)
Hey Simon, in this exercise you have taken me to the essence of Hendrix, how simple you make everything!, thank you.
@emiliosujar7197, you are very welcome! That is great to hear :)

@gregglashauser4125, glad you like the lesson :) An dyes, most definitely applicable to electric guitar. Think Hendrix, SRV, John Mayer etc

Am I seeing this correctly? Does your guitar's neck meet the body at the 16th fret??
@dennispope8299, you are!
It's a Guild S4CE Songbird :)
