A slightly muzak orchestra version of the song. Should strip it down to him and drums and bass....I guess I'm a harsh critic no one had the soul and depth of jimi. He owned every note and phrase to his core

This guy is one of the best guitarists I've ever seen or heard . I'll never forget the first time I watched him he was with Buddy Guy at Red Rocks and when he came out on stage and started playing.....I literally lost my mind 😂 he's in a class of his own . And hands down the best cover of this song I've ever heard .

I guess you might be right? And wrong at the same time, as musicians won't please everyone. But a lot of people seem to appreciate and see his talent. As to myself, I don't listen to him, but I met him in person and he's very humble.

Best young Guitar player ever
I live in New Bedford and have watched him grow into a great guitarist. His dad and mom really helped him when he was young. Good support. I have been playing guitar for a living since 1965 and really enjoy hearing him and loving his style!
Saw Quinn open a few times for Buddy Guy. His playing was awesome but at his young age, his voice was all over the place. Glad to hear as he has gotten older, his voice has filled in nicely. Was alway fun watching Quinn and Buddy matching riffs on stage. He has had a great mentor!

His voice was weak as a kid, and whose wouldn't be, but I think he did fine here. I met him backstage at tge Hollywood Bowl when he was about 11, and I kicked myself for telling him he'd grow into his "voice." I was right, but I should have kept it to my own damn self. Quinn is brilliant, and Buddy Guy great beyond words.
Wow! Maybe one of the best renditions of Little Wing I’ve ever heard! The band is really in tune with what and where he’s going. A great voice doesn’t hurt either!
Great job! He reminds me of Taylor Scott in his stance and the way he holds his guitar. Nice job all the way around!
Also for me one of the best renditions... normally either the vocals or arrangement getting too on the bluesy side turns me off...not with this one!

@@DavidSims-Music Mr. Gayles has so many performances of Little Wing it’s hard to choose just one to cherish but no doubt he does so much justice to this song and then there is John Mayer’s performances that are amazing but if I would have to choose my favorite out of only several musicians to cover this masterpiece it would be SRV’s performance live in St. Louis. He never sings the lyrics but we all get that the man is paying tribute to Hendrix and not just playing the song back for us to hear.

I’ve noticed that there are 2 different versions of Little Wing. The original Hendrix and the Clapton/ Derrick and the Dominoes arrangement. I’ve heard more covers of the Clapton version. Quinn does a great cover. Thank you Buddy Guy for promoting

I have never heard a cover of little wing I like, especially with vocals, but this is 2nd only to Jimi's (imo)...amazing job Quinn, vocals are sooo good!

Rare for a masterful guitar player to be a great singer as well, reminds me that they called Stevie Ray double trouble for that very reason.

I liked this guy so much, I brought all his records.
He is obviously really good, and often covers Clapton’s versions of some songs, which is no easy task. Having Buddy Guy as a mentor is a gift from God. Quinn is going to be a great one.
Going to be? I wish I could say I could sing or play any instrument but I can’t but I love listening to music and I could listen to him play all day long. I believe he’s already one of the great ones and will continue to get better and better.

A few months back Christone Ingram, Davy Knowles and Quinn Sullivan all played in Burlington, VT within 2 weeks - what a treat!! Being last in line, I believe Quinn's turnout was diminished by the competition. IMHO Quinn was the best show - but I DID name my son after EC, for whom Quinn some day will carry the torch!
