We've watched Quinn grow up and not comparing but like Joe Bonamassa, Quinn's got the chops. See you at the top. Hope we see you in concert in the Toronto area sometime.
Ask Buddy Guy, ask Joe Bonamassa, ask Carlos Santana, Quinn is among the best guitar players on the planet RIGHT NOW, and still a teenager. What a talent!
I have followed him since Buddy Guy discovered his talent....He is truly amazing. Buddy did not see color or a threat...He saw talent...What if we all learned this lesson in every part of our life. ♥️
The first time I saw this guy he was a very little kid on stage with Buddy Guy and then I checked his videos out after he'd grew up and I'm still at a loss for words . He's absolutely one of the greatest guitarist out there today .
He was wearing a black tux, when he played with Buddy Guy, he truly is a gifted guitar player, and with a great voice as well. Going out on a limb here, he could very well be the next Clapton!!!
@@Bluesman57 I totally agree ! Him and Santana does Maggot Brain better than anyone I've ever heard .. And to be honest with you Quinn just blows him completely off the stage when he steps out there and one more thing.... Quinn didn't do half of what he could have if he'd really wanted to ! And you know what.... your comment really helps me to know that they're still good people that knows music and understands it like you do.. I've made comments about Quinn especially in the last few years of him growing up and it really got a little heated between me and a few of them . And it was just them trying to dog me out and throwing doubt and shade towards Quinn and they had never heard him play because Everytime I bring it up to get em to watch a video they always have excuses 😂 Reality is that they really don't have a clue about who's a good musician and who ain't . My whole family is some very talented musicians and most of them plays gospel music but anyways I'm no professional especially about music but I'll tell you one thing.... Bring em from near and far and line em up against Quinn and I'll put my money on him Everytime.... everyday... anywhere and anyway !
I was there that night and Quinn was amazing. He is a wonderful live performer. I ve seen him twice since, once guesting on stage with Joe Bonamassa....Now that was special.
I'm sold. Wow. When he intentionally let the amp feedback in the intro, just like in the original, I knew it was going to be something special, and it was. This kid has chops to spare. Best cover I've ever heard of that song.
Saw him with Buddy Guy at the Garden when he was 15, brought the house down. This kid can play and sing. Like Clapton Trucks and dare i say Duane! GodSpeed Quinn
Man, this guy is awesome. What talent so young. Quinn, you are truly destined among the most talented guitarist's in the world. Stay Blessed, Brother. I am spreading the word. A big thank you to your Parent's for encouraging you, what a heck of a job. 💖
Gifted guitarist yes, but feel those vocals kick in ... clear strong committed and perfect pitch ! ... thank you Quinn for helping to restore some faith, some hope that the true classic rock candle burns on in you
besides all the other positive comments, what's noteworthy about this young man is that he totally flowed in Clapton's original vibe, but didn't try to copy him note for note but rather did his own thing. it was powerful, original, and a pleasure to listen to
Wow Buddy found a great guitar player and singer. He and his band did a fine version/ cover of this old Clapton / Bramlett song. This song is 50 years old still sounds fresh.
Saw him last night in Hartford. Best show Ive seem in a while, by far. Super friendly and appreciative after the show for a meet and greet. Quinn is the real deal.
Quinn Sullivan's cover and the Doobie Brothers' (w/Peter Frampton) cover of "Let it Rain" are two of the best videos out there. Quinn tears it up and throws in some excellent Derek Truck's right hand technique. Impressive!
Absolutely epic performance of a great Clapton song. I love how Quinn shares the spotlight with his band. Humble young man with tremendous talent and heart. My oh my how we will enjoy seeing and hearing him develop as he grows.
Great job, this is what youth is all about and when you play any instrument you never get old. Keep spreading the PEACE and LOVE through your music. “If there is any way us humans are going to change the world for the better, it will be through MUSIC. -J. Hendrix”.
Exactly what I was just thinking. Need to find out where he will be playing. Never seen or heard of him before, but even a 68-year old fart like me would go see this youngster.
Wow - there is hope! What a great choice of a great EC tune. Very surprised to see someone do this tune and done quite nicely. This album was big when I was in High school, wonderful song, always a bit of a sleeper. Great job!
Absolutely wonderful and inspiring to see the appreciation of our musical past continue on. John Mayer may be "Slowhand Junior" as Rolling Stone magazine once said, however I think this young man may be next. Thank you Buddy Guy for discovering him.
I’ve seen Quinn in person and he blew me away. Incredibly talented but humble as the dickens. Looking forward to seeing him on the west coast again someday.
What a rare and excellent piece of musicianship! Totally blown away!!!! I will be looking for more!! Could not be better! Love Quinn Sullivan's playing but supported very nicely by the whole band!!
This is the first time I've ever heard Quinn. It's always nice to see another great guitarist come along that is helping to keep rock alive! I love his song choice. I can tell he was influenced by Derek Trucks , Jeff Beck and of course Eric Clapton. Keep up the great work Quinn! I only hope that someday someone like Quinn comes along who can also write songs like Let it rain... then maybe rock will be reborn!
I saw you in the mid 90's at Hammerjacks in Baltimore, opening for Jeff Healy. I hd no idea who you were. I was shook! Your songs, your voice, your band were nothing short of amazing! I was pressed up against the stage, mouth agape and screaming from my soul! This new material takes me right back! Thank you!
Awesome dude!!! A child prodigy is now a complete Rock Star!! 🤘😝🎸🎶🎶🎶 Taj Farrant is right behind you man! He's 12 from Australia and plays extremely well!! Perfect I might add!! Keep playing music man!!! ✌😎🎸🎶

Kick butt voice...

Some seriously good chops from this young man.
Ask Buddy Guy, ask Joe Bonamassa, ask Carlos Santana, Quinn is among the best guitar players on the planet RIGHT NOW, and still a teenager. What a talent!
No doubt..havent heard feeling like that since Harrison.

Quin on Fire.. I keep coming back to this. The Derek Trucks and Clapton influence among others is pronounced and oh so cool. Great playing...
Great song, and well done!

The best performance of the best song by the best band on the internet... period. Absolute superstars. Well done guys🙏🙏🙏
It is good to know rock music is in good hands for the future. What a talent this young man is. Seemingly humble but a powerhouse behind that guitar.
AND, he still mows neighbourhood lawns for pocket money, while also maintaining his paper route......this Kid is a Genuine American.
@@captainbart that's a cool young guy!
That last sentence seems to describe his hero EC in a nutshell. That kid needs a whole episode to perform with Daryl and his band.
Quinn’s vocals! Wow! And he plays like that guitar is an extension of his body! Talented group!
Absolutely epic performance of a great Clapton song. I love how Quinn shares the spotlight with his band. Humble young man with tremendous talent and heart. My oh my how we will enjoy seeing and hearing him develop as he grows.
That band is freaking amazing as well...
A tight band, playing great music, strong vocals... I love seeing this guy doing good❤
Wonderful, I'm walking on clouds when I hear his music. Maybe I should live in Daryl's house neighbourhood? Really good version...
People will say he is the next Clapton or Bonnamassa, I say he is the next and only Quinn Sullivan,
I saw him with Buddy Guy in NYC when he was 13. I sort of forgot about him til I came across this. I won't forget again.
Great job, this is what youth is all about and when you play any instrument you never get old. Keep spreading the PEACE and LOVE through your music. “If there is any way us humans are going to change the world for the better, it will be through MUSIC. -J. Hendrix”.
