    Thank you for watching

Thank you that there are still people and trucks like yours. Between all the lowered LED skidders, I thought they didn't exist any more... the real workhorses without all the frills. I like beautiful industrial design and your truck is definitely one of them. I also agree with you that a machine can look like it's working, that doesn't mean it's not neat and clean, but you can see that it's working. Since driving a lorry is still worthwhile in America, I think I would have become a lorry driver instead of a software developer. As a child, I always found lorries interesting and imagined how free you would be if you could drive when and where you wanted and do something useful at the same time. Best wishes from Germany.

If you go with the generator and roof AC unit, maybe you can fit the ac where the sunroof is. That'll keep from having a new hole and get rid of the sunroof you don't like.

Over the Top - fun fact. One of my high school teachers was one of the arm wrestlers in the movie. They had an actual tournament, which he lost to the "villian" arm wrestler. He was a pro arm wrestler prior to becoming a teacher.
Another not so fun fact - that same teacher threw me across the hall into a row of lockers when he THOUGHT I hit another student (which I didn't). I was also on the receiving end of a paddle from him. Other than that, nice guy. lol. Wouldn't get away with that theae days.

First Class is unique because it is both a work truck and a show truck of sorts. Its classic and old school, which makes it "showy". Thanks for the shots of St. Louis at night, downtown looks nice all lit up. Crockpot is a great idea. Now I can watch and see what new recipes you'll come up with.

Kurt the work truck is looking good, although it's coming winter and you really should think about getting those LED headlights you will notice a very big difference in the rain, snow and the fog once you do that you'll wish you'd put them sooner.

Good morning Schmidt, Well I am a SUBSCRIBER of JustTruckin and Justin got a APU from Green APU you may want to check into getting one of those units from the videos of him showing it from the APU Plant to the time installed on his new W900 and he swears by it and many others have started putting them on their trucks.Chrome and lights make a work truck look better but like i always say chrome wont get you home ,so a a few little addon's won't hurt .Nothing wrong with making the truck appearance look good but make sure it runs right before you make it look pretty. T's&P's to you and your family and be safe out on the road

Porter greetings! 🇺🇸Coming to ya on Tuesday @ 1:48 am.😳 Well, this cold has me up and down…lots of coughing.😞 But I enjoy whatever I can. That’s my mindset. Pretty Boy truck…well, we need those, too I guess. I love a blinged out truck, but you know the saying, Chrome don’t get you home! You can have a work truck and just take care of it. I love to add what I can to my truck on its basic importance…Functionality, Helpful, Visibility and Character. I like to see when I’m driving and others to see it, too. I never did like just the little 2 lights on the back! Storage is important. We installed a box under the rear of the frame and put just the extra air hoses and impact. Can’t have too many tool boxes. We had to change a couple of trailer tires on a trip to Colorado once. Having a cooker will be nice as your driving. Some APUs are rather quiet and some generators are as well. I know guys who run a flatbed and they keep the generator on the trailer. Get a diesel generator. The one thing I learned from my brother is that when the truck was home we would clean it and do whatever maintenance it needed. Whatever you have on or in your truck is a reflection of YOU & Your Company. Work Trucks can look good, too! The main thing is that the truck looks taken care of and shows the Pride In The Ride! 🤩 It’s too often that I see a rig out there and it has duct tape on a fender, and you know it’s been on there a while, and you wonder how it gets by. The night shots you got were cool. Keep up that motivation. Enjoy your time off with family…that’s the most important thing! Thanks for the cool ride! This is the Comet Chaser…out! ✌️

People talk about you needing to buy lights, have them go into to one of theses places and just start pulling out 100 dollar bills and let's see how far they get, chicken lights are sharp but they can be a pain in the but and expensive. Still a good looking Ole Kenworth. It's hard to drive one and keep it looking brand new as well and be family man when you get out of it at the house.

I find the APU to be no more intrusive than the reefer unit noise-wise.
A Carrier APU will keep the cab comfortable up to about 90°F outside temperature. When it is hotter than that I hang a blanket from the upper bunk so I am only cooling the lower bunk space.
The heat on the APU is nothing great, but the Espar (or Wabasco) diesel fired heater will make the cab hotter than you want.
From what I have heard the ThermoKing APU is about equivalent to the Carrier.
The Green APU has 2-3 times the heating and cooling BTUs of the Carrier or ThermoKing. The price is comparable.
My new T-680 (it should be ready when I get to the yard Wednesday) is equipped with the factory EPU...some extra batteries, electrical-driven AC unit, factory inverter, and interface to start/stop the truck engine as needed to keep the batteries charged.
I think your rest area temper tantrum recalibrated your brain into a better state.

It would be called a "truck with character". 😉🙃
I can only sleep next to the APUs or reefer trucks. Lol
Instant pot has a crockpot (slow cooker) feature. I like that in the truck better than the crockpot. Simply because the crockpot lid can move and then dump your food all over your truck (Michigan roads, need I say more? Lol!). The instant pot lid locks on. Plus you can use the other instant pot features. Just keep that in mind... Bumpy roads and secure lid. Lol.
Over The Top. That truck was awesome!
First Class is awesome the way she she is!

They make super quiet generators now. They are pricey but worth it. They don't sound like a lawn mower and I know how much you just love the sound of lawn mowers. It's your truck. Do what makes you happy. Just keep the tape to the back of the seat. I'll spare you the story of sitting on a piece of Flex Tape. Thanks for another great ride. Safe travels and God bless.

    Hey
A couple of videos ago you asked about a better way from Cartersville Ga to Athens
The hwy 316 or hwy 78 out of Atlanta is horrible with the traffic lights and traffic
Another option if no one else has suggested is taking Ga hwy 20 from I75 which is just north of Cartersville and take that over to Gainesville
From there take hwy 441 south into Athens
May be a little longer mileage wise , but quicker and less stressful
    Just another option for ya
Be safe and happy thanksgiving to you and all your family

the best truck show in my opinion happens at truck stops. those are all working trucks for the most part and some are really cool. I like a little bling on a truck but some take it waaaaay too far. lol. personally I like the KW T600s as far as the newer trucks go. First Class is fine. Nothing wrong with a good ol workin truck. I watch JBG Travels and he drives a 2019 Volvo VNL 860 and all the sensors and the constant beeping in those would drive me nuts. Their is a lot to be said for those older trucks.

That is known as an EPU. It includes "smart idle" to start/stop the truck engine as needed to charge the batteries.

Kurt, I love your truck but, A friend of mine has a long nose like that white one with the rv part sleeper on it but, it is a silver mentalic paint on his Kenworth 900 truck. He has a handicap lift built on it because his wife is a double amputee below the leg and she has a class a cdl with all the endorsements and a hand control for accelerator and brake pedals.
