    The best thing to do is walk through a cemetery at night. More fun if you no bring a flashlight but make sure you go alone.

    Ok... you guys made my vacation amazing!! We stayed all of November. We went to Hawaii to see our new grand baby. We stayed in a house across from the ocean on historic Ewa beach, scooters and fire crackers included. I had an underlying goal to get in shape and lose weight. We did Makapu'u multiple times. We did 3 waterfalls, Lulumahu, Likeke (got a little lost) and Waimano. Waimano being the toughest and best of the 3, in my opinion. We hiked the Ma'ili pillbox on day 2. Great views and saw wild goats on the way down. We did a test run of Ka'ena Point and walked to the bird preserve about two weeks later. My favorite hike! Relatively flat and miles of incredible coastal views. We saw 4 monk seals along the hike. There is also a blow hole that sounds like a dragon. We had access to a boat so we made it out to the sandbar! We also took your suggestions from other videos. We drove a little out of the way to order a Sweet Lady at Waiahole Poi factory. 100% worth it. We saw the spitting cave and watched the sunset twice on China Wall. We grabbed some Maui Mikes chicken and ate at Wahiawā Botanical Garden a couple times. We watched sun rises and sunsets. We saw a total of 7 monk seal, 10 turtle shells and over 50 turtle heads throughout our stay. We took the grandbaby to the Zoo the Aquairium and Sea Life Park. Took my wife out for dinner on her birthday at Haleiwa Joe's Haiku Gardens in Kaneohe. Really you guys made this an absolutely incredible trip. I lost 27 pounds. Thank you for creating these wonderful inspiring videos!!!

      That's an excellent hike too. We only did it once, but it rained. We'll have to try it again. :)

    Thanks for sharing your experiences and tips. I love hiking. Question, do you have to worry about ticks or anything when hiking through the jungle?

    How long /difficult is the Kuliohoh hike?

    • @DennyandNikki
      @DennyandNikki  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It takes a couple hours. It has gradual incline and I would rate it moderate.

    My girlfriend and I will be visiting Oahu in August, we'll be staying at a hotel in the Waikiki area however watching your videos just confirmed that the best way to enjoy Oahu is to explore it the best we can! Do you guys have any recommendations for companies or anything along those lines that would allow us to reserve a rental car for a few days at a decent price?

    • @DennyandNikki
      @DennyandNikki  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, the car rental situation on Oahu is messy! Maybe Turo? I wouldn't worry too much though! You can definitely see some amazing things from Waikiki. The bus runs well around Oahu and many tours will take you around the island! I hope that helps.

    Is there any wild animals in the forest? Aren’t you guys scared If accident happens during your hike? What would you do to get help?

      You are safe as long as you stick to the trail systems. I always carry a cell phone and let others know where I am going but we've never had issues.

    Where do I get a permit for lulu trail? And is it safe for toddlers?

    • @DennyandNikki

      I've seen families with carriers on the trail. Try this site for the permit: trails.ehawaii.gov/camping/all,details,57925.html
